October 15, 20177 yr comment_298223 Terrible news our glue and mvp on defense gone throws a huge wrench at our defense.
October 15, 20177 yr comment_298227 Both Westerman and Leggett gone for the season is a devastating blow, but..... #NextManUp. #WinForMomar #WinForBusterman
October 15, 20177 yr comment_298229 Leggett is the kind of guy who will commit 100% to rehab and come back next year in the best shape of his life.
October 15, 20177 yr comment_298238 I was hoping someone was jumping the gun with the thread title....
October 15, 20177 yr comment_298239 We stood a decent chance at a Grey Cup with those guys...without them it will all that much harder...can't hide the fact that this is really bad news
October 15, 20177 yr comment_298247 With an injury like this so late in the season we’ll be lucky to see him in 2018 as well.
October 15, 20177 yr comment_298250 Worst case scenario, dammit. Still, a bad strain could have been as bad as a torn Achilles. Hard to replace a league all-star easily.
October 15, 20177 yr comment_298256 the only positive from such **** news like this is, leggett has been hurt a couple times this season so his back up should be well adjusted to start at this point. Definitely a downgrade to Moe, but we've played a few games without already
October 16, 20177 yr comment_298262 Saving grace too is that he will miss a good chunk of next year..and evsn tho was a pending free agent i he is in our plans as we intended to lock him down. His significant money can be allocated to a possible free agent signing...and or toward say Mulumba.. byvthen time Moe is game ready he would be a prorated hit to cap in 2018 and a literal bargain if he comes back for last month or so and playoffs. Walters should be on the phone to Lokombo' s agent asap and offer big bucks for the balance of season and playoffs...with caveat that we would release him after season for a late season injury shot in NFL Would fill a big need and help with ratio..
October 16, 20177 yr comment_298266 So, Randal to Sam? Walker or Alexander to boundary corner and Fogg to the field side?
October 16, 20177 yr comment_298268 I dunno...pretty sure Randal has played Sam for us before. I’d trust him more there there than the others. Tough position to play Edited October 16, 20177 yr by Kubie
October 16, 20177 yr comment_298269 At this point in his career the fear has to be that this is potentially career ending.
October 16, 20177 yr comment_298270 Obviously a big blow for our defense, but also hurts our special teams as well as he returned missed field goal attempts. If Adams hadn't been knocked out of the game earlier, he wouldn't have been the 'designated receiver' on the onside kick to begin with...
October 16, 20177 yr Author comment_298276 Fogg will be at SAM has been getting reps there during Leggett maintenance days the past few weeks.
October 16, 20177 yr comment_298280 Just brutal. And on such a harmless looking play. Ironically, if he had of run with the ball, after fielding it, instead of making the smart, safe play, this injury doesn't happen.

Tough position to play Limit the changes as little as possible. Leave Randle, Heath, Loffler, Alexander where they are. Put Fogg in place of Walker and Porter at SAM. Porter played there earlier when Leggett was down. Doing a lot of changes will not help. Edited October 16, 20177 yr by M.O.A.B.

No the reason he didn't run is because the injury happened when he landed.
