We beat Hamilton by 27 points and Saskatchewan by 20 points. We're capable of putting the nail in the coffin..

  • Me, sitting at work, waiting for CJOB pre-game to start............

  • One guy who I don't think has been mentioned yet ... Alexander is quietly becoming very good. Had a great game tonight.

Rye is pretty harsh in general to drink straight up. It's not exactly the expensive scotches or something we're talking about.

totally agree... i'm a spirits guy and rye still makes me cringe when I drink it without mix.  doesn't matter if its shots or sips.. its always cringe-worthy.   I don't gag like some do or retch... but definitely feel it.

The better rye is easy to drink straight, if you sip it and don't shoot it.  Give Wiser Legacy a try.

Northern Harvest is more of a scotch than a rye, so slightly easier to drink straight up than regular rye.... Definitely a sipping drink, and nothing wrong with adding a bit of water to tone it down a bit.

That's a good one, Forty Creek Copper Pot is also decent but my favourite is Wisers Lot 40 which is just as good as Scotch at half the price.

Any word on the crowd for tonight? Usually if its good, Darren Cameron trumpets it on Twitter, but I've heard nothing so far.

Usually takes some prodding of Darren Cameron on twitter.   Sorry, I've been distracted from the game at work    :/

I feel like they haven't pushed this game very much.  They had two weeks to sell it, coming off a huge Banjo Bowl win, for a Friday night game.  But the hype hasn't really been there.  Hoping for a decent crowd.  28k would be nice.

In this weather, north of 25k has to be considered a win....
