I agree with Goalie on the how you solve the ratio: Chungh/Gossen/Harris/Loffler/JFG/Hurl/Thomas with Faith and Corney rotating.

I agree with Booch, use Drew W as a returner/receiver as a way to add Nevis to the lineup.

Agree with Mike, sign Mulumba.

I'm just thinking of having Johnson and Nevis on the roster...  with Thomas and Ekakitie rotating - I think more pressure from the middle makes Corney's job less daunting

I have to admit ... I'm a bit worried about this in the sense that this doesnt lend itself well to a scenario Osh can be realistic about.

im expecting we'll see an internal fix, roster management we'll all disagree with and an "everyone is a starter" mantra from the coach

I agree with you and Mike. I expect a stupid solution.

We really don't need a major fix anyway, a lot of times we had 3 National D-Lineman on the field at same time anyway. Just run your rotations with one of Thomas/Corney/ekakite  in on any play and we will be fine. Hopefully they can tweek the ratio...and least intrusive way is swap out Lankford, and see what Drew has and bring in Green Or Nevis in his spot.

It would be great to bring up Mulumba, but that will not fix the immediate issue.  You can't bring an NFL DL, and that is what he is at this point, and start him.  If they brought him in now and he was a quick study, he might be able to play in time for the BC games though.

I like the idea of Drew W. for Westerman and Nevis for Lankford. I'll bet ya its something that pisses off most of the board though.

Wonder if jake thomas could play off the edge...  Feel like this is a huge chance for corney.  Really sucks. Hope this doesnt lead to poop being relegated to bench and inactive list.

We do rotate DL a lot. And its fantastic to do. I just hope it means more corney and more thomas. And not the end of poop. 

I wouldn't be expecting a "one replaces the other" type of situation.  We're just not going to find the next guy that can play the type of role Westerman did in such a short period of time.  The Mulumba talk is just wishful thinking for many reasons.
