Walters has to try... and likely is willing to give very fair terms considering how vital a spot HM now occupies in their roster and plans going forward... but i doubt even Walters doubts he'll get him inked until the new CBA drops. there very well may be lots of intriguing player movement come February when GMs flex their expanded spending power. *the exception of course being a contract which is either too huge to pass on... or perhaps a creative GM will offer a deal which is indexed to the coming increase in SMS
