April 9, 20178 yr comment_257955 mentioned this earlier to someone. If my house is ever on fire, I want Oost showing up. That guy looks like he could carry an entire family out in one haul. Edited April 9, 20178 yr by ediger

April 12, 20178 yr comment_258306 Chris Kowalczuk (former Bomber O-Line) is also currently in Brandon taking the firefighters course. Big man fighting big fires!
April 12, 20178 yr comment_258354 Neil McKinlay is a firefighter too. Was he the guy who was a part-time Lion on top of being a Vancouver firefighter? Also, former bomber Paul Clatney is a firefighter ... according to Wikipedia, dude has had a pretty awesome and varied career: he's been a CFL linebacker, a fireman, an Olympian, a minor-league hockey player, he even had a tryout with the Jays. I heard he also plays a really good Henry Higgins on the dinner theatre circuit.
April 14, 20178 yr comment_258609 I think Michel-Pierre Pontbriand also became a fire-fighter in old Quebec.
