That's a bad goal on hutch. If he's paying attention it doesn't go in. Hutch played well but there's that 1 bad goal he lets in per game . 

Wheeler stopped seconds earlier on a breakaway tho. 3 out of 4 ain't bad tho 

 

With that being said the team looked tired and Colorado is borderline a dirty team 

 

Did the jets have 15 shots tho?

Knowing it's coming from your own player, but how does that go in? Yeesh. Hutch just seems to find a way to baffle things. To lose on that goal, I'm surprised Maurice doesn't start Hutch the next game based on his approach with Goalies (i.e., need to bounce back right away). He'll just stew on it now.

Maurice not so subtly threw hutch under the bus in his post game comments saying that shouldn't have gone in.

 

Hutch probably won't play for a bit now. 

It's pretty obvious that helle getting 4 in a row prior is Maurice not having much confidence in hutch

Time for Helle to go back in and continue to play net for a while, Hutch really doesn't have a future here so let Hellebucyk show the management if he can handle the majority of the games and preform well.

I think Hutch is an average backup at best but what do you expect from a 26 year old goalie making 1.15m per year? I thought he had a strong game to be honest.

Hutch was good during the game.  

Lots of guys played decent games. I thought the only ones who were struggling was Wheeler and Chiarot. 

Wheeler looked good to me..........let's not forget he is mainly playing with two rookies.
