Well Hell just got a little colder. I'm surprised no one has posted anything here yet about this, I don't pay attention to baseball, in fact I don't really care about baseball, but I actually really want the Cubs to win this year. And believe me I really wanted to see a Jays/Cubs World series because no matter what the outcome would have been I would have been mildly satisfied the score was 5-0.

 

Oh yeah and I was watching the celebrations, I noticed something peculiar.....they have their  own song......WHY DON'T THE JETS HAVE THEIR OWN SONG? the Cubs have their own song that is so catchy that it would have hit that baseball song that Fogerty wrote out of the park (pun intended)

The Jets song for the last 36 years has been "We Are Not The Champions".

would love for the Indians to win just so they can boast about being the city of Cham.... the cleveland browns

That song was done by Steve Goodman a life long Cubs fan. He wrote the song right before he died in 1984. The Cubs started to play it after victories in the 2007 season.

i just hope charlie sheen comes out dressed as rick vaughn to wild thing and throws an opening pitch in this series. thats my only hope.

I heard about that lol. Pretty crazy if he did end up tossing one. He got all the blame for that collapse. Sure he messed up bad, but they were imploding well before and after that interference catch. 

which is a shame, because the Cubs have forgiven him and so has most of the fans.....I think. Well I know the Cubs have for sure

Is that Buck Martinez I hear on the broadcast team?  I thought he was supposed to be terrible...at least that's what I was told.

He needs extra room in the booth for his hair so it might be hard to make out his voice for the echo ..
