Posted October 18, 20168 yr comment_230118 I notice the time the west semi final is on the jets have a game against the Kings. Is possible to push them apart so people can see both games?
October 18, 20168 yr comment_230125 If people are stupid enough to choose a meaningless game out of 82 over the bombers possible playoff game... then let them. Honestly the bomber game actually means something.... the Jets game? It truly means nothing.
October 18, 20168 yr comment_230128 Who wants to watch a hockey game in the afternoon? Poor scheduling on the NHL's part. Indoors during the day and NOT watching the NFL? Seriously?
October 18, 20168 yr comment_230132 This is a conflict? I'm puzzled... Sort of like saying, "I have a tough call to make, here. I could eat this delicious pizza with my favourite toppings, OR, frozen green beans, still frozen." No conflict there.
October 18, 20168 yr comment_230135 I am a Jets fan but bomber playoffs is way more important than 1 of 82 regular season games.
October 18, 20168 yr comment_230137 I'd agree with Goalie, its not much of a conflict even for Jets fans. Unless you for some reason have to catch every game out of an 82 game schedule. Even then though, it would just mean you aren't much of a CFL fan if those regular season games are more important than play off games. ** Not sure how everything became underlined ** Edited October 18, 20168 yr by Tehedra
October 18, 20168 yr comment_230141 There are many cities out there with multiple professional sports teams. They don't check with each other for conflicts, People just have to make their choice.

October 18, 20168 yr comment_230195 In no way shape or form would I ever pick any other sports game over a Bomber playoff game... let alone a regular season Jets game.
October 18, 20168 yr comment_230197 i see the jets changed their time of the game for grey cup sunday, now at noon, instead of 5pm

Honestly the bomber game actually means something.... the Jets game? It truly means nothing. IIrc the first game against BC was very sparse in attendance with people watching pre season jets games, and the chat box was filled with jets stuff half the time. It really sucks for the football/bombers but their share of the market has drastically dipped. Even in a year where we are in a position to take a home play off game. In the pre jets era this team would be racking up sell outs at home. I really hope this turn around is a long term sustained one. Other wise the franchise could be in real financial trouble again.
October 18, 20168 yr comment_230303 I like the question. Jets v Kings is scheduled for 1 pm. For the Bombers being a Western playoff game, I'd guess the start time in Ywg is 3 pm. The Kings don't have to play until the Tuesday, so moving the game to noon should have minimal impact on the visiting team. Viewers in LA would be impacted. If the move is workable for the NHL and if TSN with the CFL can accommodate a 4 pm start, Winnipeg sports fans could have the best of both professional sports worlds. Networks appear the issue. I'd like to see both games but if only one be attended, the bomber game is it.
October 18, 20168 yr comment_230308 Not so simple if you've already paid for Jets tickets that day. Lots of people who go to Jets games are the same people that go to Bombers games.
October 18, 20168 yr comment_230309 OK reverse the order PVR the Bomber game, go to the Jets game and you have the comfort of watching both in the warm confines of the arena and your home. Still simple I think
October 18, 20168 yr comment_230332 Bombers don't make the playoffs often, not wasting my time on the jets this day
October 19, 20168 yr comment_230349 ...You know the forum is called "Morning Big Blue" right? Not "Morning-those-guys-that-left-for-the-desert-then-came-back-trust-us-they're-really-awesome-oh-and-enjoy-some-of-the-highest-ticket-prices-in-league"
October 20, 20168 yr comment_230581 I think this could potentially kill a good portion of the walk-up crowd for the eastern semi final. The best place to catch the most action from both games will be in front of the tv.
