 Interesting piece of info. 10 pressures allowed by Stanley Bryant with 2 holds definitely classifies as upper tier. But what classifies as a pressure?

Could easily argue that with more starts Fulton would surpass Bryant on this list, putting Bryant somewhere in the middle/lower tier.

Rogers is in a class of his own and that whole Calgary o-line is excellent so Bryant being where he is on the list isn't overly surprising.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your point...but this is a stat where less is more.

Yes I meant he would move down the list as shown (moving up in terms of overall standing)

Think what he's saying is Fulton has started 7 games And allowed 8... Bryant has played all 11 and is at 10. 

Give Fulton 4 more games and he probably has more than Bryant sp Bryant would be closer to the bottom 

The season for Bryant could be broken down into pre-Willy and post-Willy.  There were a lot of breakdowns in those first 5 games before Bond took over.

pass rusher getting into the back field before he qb has gotten rid of the ball. Forcing him to throw a pass run or throw it away.

qb pressure is loosely defined as any time a defender makes a little bit of pee come out of the qb from fear.

A sack, on the other hand is defined as when the other common excrement comes out of said QB.

I think having Willy as starting pivot was an o-line killer. Sure we traded out Neufeld for Bond on the line, and boy what a difference that has made, but I think a lot of the sudden statistical improvement is on Nichols not feeling "pressure" just from seeing a blitz coming as well as being able to throw a ball knowing he is going to get hit rather than turtle which has brought down the sack totals. He is also more mobile and has a quicker release (although I don't think there is another QB in the league that could not claim the same) and just seems to have better field vision in general.

I'd be curious to know how AlexGauthier graded out for the Bombers - that was an excellent OL

Goodspeed Labatte Picard Donnelly Gauthier.... yeah that whole OL was pretty solid at the time

That was an elite OL... I miss those days... Segal Edwards Armstrong Franklin were pretty good to... At that point it didn't even matter who the 4th import was because the other three were so good it made the 4th guy look good also

Not that it really matters... but I believe it was Gauthier-Labatte-Picard-Donnelly-Goodspeed... With good ol' Matt Sheridan as the 6th man...

I believe down the stretch it was Andrew Green who started for Donnelly in 2007

That right guard spot was a revolving door between '06 and '09.  Donnelly never could stay healthy.

yes I forgot about Andrew Green... I think you're right... he was definitely the "unsung hero" of that line...

I don't have any kids so I remember football players instead... in this case, yes, it's purely memory... but sometimes I'll do a bit of research then post something and try to pass it off as my own knowledge

I honestly don't even remember Donnelly, so he couldn't have played in many games.
