From what I've heard, it's a pretty weak draft year. Pretty telling that there's a TE in the top 10 prospects. Good to see a Manitoba boy in the top 20 though, especially an OL - there is definitely a shortage of them this year though.

September 15, 20168 yr comment_223973 I'll take your word for it. Canadian linemen seem to be safer than skill guys. I don't follow the CIS in the least bit. The last game I saw was the 2011 Vanier when I stumbled (literally) into BC place with free tickets. I'll keep my eyes open for the guys playing in the states.

September 15, 20168 yr comment_224069 The irony of a weak draft is ,theoretically at least , there will be less interest from NFL teams making more borderline picks likely to attend CFL camps. I would add that maybe we've been a little spoiled by the quality in recent drafts and this group will look a whole lot better after the months leading up to the draft.
