Posted September 7, 20168 yr comment_221559 I actually feel a little skeezy bringing this up because I believe charity looks best when it's anonymous. However, when I hear about "Canada's Team" and the "Best Fans in the League"....and then I notice where they sit next to others regarding the Purolater tackle hunger initiative.....I have to shake my head. BTW kudos to the Tabbies!
September 8, 20168 yr comment_221592 I find it even more appalling that the same fans waste so many watermelons.

BTW kudos to the Tabbies! I remember when the CFL tweeted the "standings" right before the sask game... some random sask fan said just wait till sask blows Winnipeg out of the water (or something to that effect, I'm paraphrasing)... I laughed at him (real laugh, not internet laugh)...
September 8, 20168 yr comment_221686 It's a great program and I'm proud of Winnipeg for being at the top of the list, but any donation counts and the food Saskatchewan donated is still a substantial amount. Good on all of us! And no, I'm not getting off this fence!
September 8, 20168 yr comment_221688 It is slightly curious that Winnipeggers are known as being frugal... while simultaneously being quite generous...
