Sask v Hamilton
All true, but there's a lot of time to make up ground. That being said, the praise of Masoli must stop. He's the new Kevin Glenn.

How Happy Are You With Paul LaPolice
This, and I've had a few times I felt Lapo went too conservative and safe with his play calls, and other times where he tried to get too smart with them. But all in all, I'd say more times than not our guys have been put in position to execute and I have enough confidence that debacle of the second half in BC will get fixed starting this week in Toronto. We just need to kind of need to break the good-bad-good-bad week to week offense streak. Lapolice definitely should go nowhere unless it's to get a head coach job in which case ... He'll have rightly earned it. Can definitely say he's put pretty consistently good offenses on the field, a polar opposite of our defensive coordinator and his dumpster fire worst in CFL history defenses.

Sask v Hamilton
I'm going to say Hamilton 30 SSK 12 in this one. One TD will come off a ST gone bad situation.

Around the League: 2018 Season
Just call QB rollout plays and call 50-50 deep ball jump balls with him because at least maybe Ernest Jackson will go up and get it.

Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
And they think this forum has crazy stuff. Of all the things and they aren't talking about Richie Hall's diet.

Highly debatable but doesn't matter. They both should be shipped out of there immediately. Dominique Davis at this point would outshine both of them. Kavis Reed should wise up and make a trade offer to Desjardins ... Willy for Davis.

God what a ridiculous and dumb move that is by the Als. No wonder they don't win football games anymore cuz they let their star QB sit on the bench while playing the duds.

Well, I just might have to tune into this game after all. While I certainly think having Claybrooks's defense on the field gives the Stampeders a big edge, no BLM means their usually unstoppable O has been neutered. And Adams has been overdue to make his start for MTL as he is 1000x better than the awful 2 dudes who've been starting in front of him. Im going to bet Willy and Matthews never get playing time again in MTL if Adams stays healthy.

Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
It is true, but some posters here are misunderstanding that offenses don't cause defensive coverage breakdowns. Also, few of the minority Hall defenders understand that his scheme causes losses in the TOP battle because it gives Goltz level QBs easy throws. But don't worry they say, we must be content to keep a DC who has perennial bottom ranking defenses.

Battle of Underperformers: Blue vs Double Blue in Doubleheader
The game is actually in TO this week.

Battle of Underperformers: Blue vs Double Blue in Doubleheader
1. Ehhh, I'm really not much of a believer in that because if he was, you'd figure this defense would get fixed already and he'd do what Chamblin did in 2013 taking over the play calling completely. He played defense but he doesn't seem to have the gift of drawing up plays or schemes for them. 2. I know he's survived before in 2014 and 2015, but I gotta think this year if he did miss the playoffs he'd either get fired or be on borrowed time next year. I mean, we seriously have too much talent at this point not to make the playoffs, plus behind Calgary 2nd and third place are wide open in the West and there's no reason our guys shouldn't take one of those esp with both SSK and EDM in the tank. MOS is safe to a certain point, but he certainly doesn't have a coaching job for life. I'll certainly say that I believe he's good as a player's coach, but his in-game decisions, strategy and management have a lot to be desired.

Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
No see that's the problem it is not manufactured. The only manufactured outrage around here is the excessive blame put on Lapolice the instant the offense goes 2 and out. Only thing we get upset about are when low expectations are put on the defense.

Games for this week ... I'm going to say TiCats get the revenge on SSK 23-10. Bridge is under fire at THF. Could be a good shootout brewing in Ottawa Friday night. Redbacks take it 37-27. Then after we have our fun filled action in BMI ... The dumpster fire takes full force in MTL at CGY. Kavis Reed goes trotting out Matthews again. I could see this becoming a repeat of that 59-1 beatdown that got put on Hamilton last year. It's too bad the Als fans have already stopped caring or they could get Reed fired and Willy and Matthews tossed off the team. Sorry, but I really believe it is the front office and Andrew Wettenhall calling the shots on this team with Mike Sherman being nothing more than a figurehead.

Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
No, the point was I was showing how ridiculous it is to use the offense as a foil to give Richie his Hall pass.

Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
And the defense is paid to protect the lead. Next.

Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
The offense and Lapolice are to blame yes. It certainly is their job to score points and not to just sit on leads or to call a QB outside run on 3rd down that the BC defense has already seen many times before. But it's also incumbent on the defense to keep the other team out of the end zone. Fail on Richie Hall bend and break last night.

Toronto @ Edmonton
Bump it up to 4 and no one will ever do it.

Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
Not to mention this defense generating turnovers line gets old. Defenses are not measured by turnovers, they're measured by keeping other teams out of the end zone. And Richie Hall's defenses have always been the worst red zone defenses to ever set foot on CFL fields giving up a higher percentage of TDs than anyone elses.

Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
Sure you can. Edmonton's offense was awful too the other night but their defense didn't use it as an excuse.

Game Day Thread- Week Five: Winnipeg @ BC July 14, 2018
Yet he should kick it from 60 plus yards out? Tbh with you I typically like going for it on 3rd and short too, but that one was definitely a big missed opportunity he'll be talking about for a while.
-
Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
Well, we do have to admit that last night the offense can be blamed a little. Not getting even so much as 2 FGs in the 2nd half of that game (or any points period) does deserve a call out. But that doesn't absolve Mr Hall's defense from failing to hold the lead either.
-
Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
Well the main point is that the onus is on O'Shea to do it since he gets to make the call. And since it seems he's been unwilling to do it, a bit of heat/pressure coming down on him might get him more willing to make the change.

Toronto @ Edmonton
The bad dirty hits aside, I definitely gotta wonder how anyone could see this game and not agree that Richie Hall = awful. His defenses have been some of the softest over the last 15 years that I've ever seen.
