Honestly, if the guy was playing high, I'd understand suspending him but i'd also probably give him a raise cuz Gordon is pretty damn spectacular on a pretty crappy browns team. May be the best not really known receiver in the league. Apparently though The Browns have said he won't be allowed to play in the CFL... so seems fitting, put that in your pipes and smoke it, Not getting in to the whole weed debate on here, It is what it is, But... I will say that it does less damage to you than the very legalized and very popular alcohol does. Whatever though. To each their own. Heres a question though, Valid in the whole NFL/Weed debate..What if Josh Gordon smoked that weed in Colorado? Or a Bronco smoked some weed and it was done in Colorado? Still suspended? Weed is pretty much legal there. NFL can't suspend a guy for doing something legal, can they? To the NFL it might be a banned substance but to a few states and more to come, It isn't and won't be. NFL bigger than the Governments? Gordon, if he could prove that he smoked that weed in a state that has it "legalized", He could win that if he took the NFL to court over his suspension. Would love to see it, cuz it may open a can of worms in the future.. Washington is another state, Blaming Brandon Browner for smoking a legal substance in the state he plays football in? Not sure how anyone could say Browner is dumb when the state he plays football in is one of states that has legalized weed. Haven't touched it in a few years but so i could really care less but... What's gonna happen when most the states that have football and sports team legalize weed? Are leagues above state governments? What will happen if New York, the state that most of the sports league have their offices in legalizes it in the future? cuz they probably will. However, this is the same NFL who is going to be charging half time acts to play the super bowl so who really knows.

Looks like Hamiltons, except the white and red, Replace that with Yellow though and It's the same Jersey. So bold and innovative though to have 3 or 4 teams in a 9 team league have a jersey that looks exactly the same. Not a fan of the bomber jerseys, But... the one thing I will say, Is they are at least different than most the others. I suppose you could make the argument that the bombers jerseys have been the "boldest" jerseys so far, Not say "bold" is always a good thing tho. Just saying compared to the others, they are pretty "bold".

I dunno, i think Churchill is one of those guys that might know more than the others. Not sure why but when Churchill says something, it does tend to be truthful. Honestly, I'll take Churchills opinion over some of the other guys, I like bauming, i like Penton but at times, they tend to go a bit overboard on guys getting injured, He's not on the field they say, must be injured, then a day later you find out the guy went home to be there for the birth of his daughter. I think Churchill is more in the know than people realize. Honestly, I understand they are media but... why keep playing up the injury thing? What's the point, I'd rather go the Churchill route and say he's pretty much healthy and will be fine rather than beating a tiny injury to death, Penton called Vega a healthy scratch, Not exactly healthy. Penton,Bauming, they are print and radio media really, Churchill is the sports director at CTV, he has really no need to over exaggerate, The other guys? to an extent, they do, gives them talking points for their columns or radio shows. Say what you will about Churchill but he seems to be well respected, Who got the first real interview with Wade Miller last season? Wasn't penton, Wasn't bauming, it was Churchill and CTV.

Honestly, I'm gonna say it, I'm happy he signed with SASK over Ottawa. That puts a smile on my face, Once i came to the realization he wasn't gonna sign here, I just wanted him to give Marcel Desjardins a big FU and he pretty much did. The only argument to be made in Dresslers case is he has arguably been the best receiver in the league the last several years.. he does have five 1000 yard seasons under his belt, He is what i'd consider to be an elite receiver, there aren't many Weston Dresslers in the CFL. What desjardins is doing though is potentially crippling his franchise a wee bit in the long run, What's gonna happen when time comes to sign a few more guys.. Will they have the money to keep signing guys to these ridiculous over priced contracts? Only time will tell. Not all of his players can make "top dollar".

Yeah it really doesn't make much sense, I suppose he is trying to win now but that teams needs more than just one receiver. The sad part is the RedBlacks are actually one win away from being host to a playoff game.. Yup. But i agree 100 percent, that team won't win now, I'd be surprised if they won anytime in the near future even, not another game, i mean a championship.. I would understand this more if that team was one or 2 players away from being really really good but they aren't. They got a long way to go.

But Vega,Turner,Anderson,Hall. with one of peach or fraser rotating, heck could probably get them both on the roster, works. Realize, getting a bit carried away here but... Just got a question. How good would Dressler be in Ottawa? Ottawa isn't SASK, they have no getzlaf or bagg or simon last year or fantuz prior, Dressler would be the man and the only receiver they have really, Couldn't teams just take Dressler out of the game seeing as he would have no help there at all and take their chances on the other guys who are not getting the job done? It's a pretty valid question here because sask has had good receivers for years, Ottawa doesn't really have one receiver.. How good would he be there? If dressler wants to win, he probably won't go there, if he wants to be the man and be the only receiver on the team and only cares about money, he might.. But i mean, 3 guys Hank, Dressler,Shologan making probably over 1 million bucks combined. Throw in Chevon Walker and it's more.. How much is Ottawa handcuffing themselves for the future here? If it was me, I'd appreciate Ottawas offer but probably go to the team who has a better chance to compete now and in the future, Hank is 40, Demarco is done for the year, What if Hank gets injured and you got green than goose poop O'brien playing.. Man oh man.

I think 200,000 for Dressler is fair. Dude has had five 1000 yard seasons, He's very good. I'd actually say he's the best import receiver in the CFL the last several seasons. I've always liked the guy, was really angered to learn that he came from North Dakota and the Bombers didn't make a play for him originally. You know what, 200,000 base with a 50,000 signing bonus.. I'd do it. Hell, if need be, let's make that one time signing bonus 75000. Got cap space, why not use it.

I dont buy it. Firstly, that would be the worst thing ISIS could do though I assume they'd gladly do it if they could. But that would be the end of ISIS because the US would decimate them. I'm not convinced he goes to Ottawa. All that money or not, I'm just not convinced. He probably will but, one would assume that if they offered him 250,000, he would have signed it by now...
