Franklin has the ability to run. I'd go after him for sure. He's got CFL QB written all over him. His skill set is very much catered to the CFL. He's Jonathan Jennings pretty much... big arm with accuracy and the ability to run.

This is exactly the point. It takes time. Not even Carey Price was as good as he is now right away. And I'm not saying helle will be as good as price. I'm just saying it took price 3 years in the NHL before he became the goalie he is today. This is essentially helles first full year.

For Comparison sake Helle played 26 games last year with a .918 save percentage This year ... 17 games and a .915 save percentage

I'd probably go BPA to the CFL with the 1st pick. I wouldn't be opposed to trading pick 5 for a future QB. Like James Franklin maybe.

The PP hasn't been good for a long time tho. They weren't good last year or the year before. The problem is the players on the ice. I like Buff and I like Wheeler but they aren't exactly prolific PP producers. Maybe they need to change up the players. Scheif Laine Ehlers Petan plus D man (Trouba or Morrissey) on PP 1. Not sure about PP 2 but maybe you go 2 D (Enstrom plus Buff ) with Wheeler Little (when healthy) and maybe a shooter like Connor or a guy who can stand in front with skill like Dano.

Armia is a bottom 6 forward tho. If he comes back in January or whatever and starts lighting it up... you got a decision to make for sure. Cuz he's got a bunch of potential. When he's on he's very very good. I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets maybe buy out Enstrom or trade Myers(or Trouba if he truly doesn't want to be here long term) before the expansion draft. 1 of those 3 will more than likely not be a Jet come expansion time. But then the question becomes... would you rather lose a top 4 D or a bottom 6 forward when you are loaded with forwards.

Helle has started 11 of the last 13 games. Hutch probably won't play for a while
