But trading trouba for another Winger and one who wants 7.5 plus a year makes us worse. Why not just give Trouba that 7.5 and move one of our own many wingers for something we need like a lhd who can play on the 2nd pair. Jets dont trade for Nylander unless we flip him immediately and i highly doubt we'd trade a d for a forward anyway. I mean we are D weak and forward strong. It just makes zero sense to trade a position of weakness (D) for a position of strength (Winger)

Bottom line.. He was a top 4 legit top 4 D. Chiarot and Morrow are not. Are we missing him? I dunno.. Personally i think he'd likely be on IR right now as injuries started adding up so.. No maybe we dont but in terms of being better than Chiarot and Morrow.. Yeah.. Hes missed.

Trouba is a 1D and wants to be paid like one. He wants to be here... For 7.5 a year. Why would anyone trade Trouba for another winger in Nylander.. We dont need him and he wants 8 million. I dont get why anyone wants Nylander.. Hes an NHL winger.. Ehlers is better as is Connor Wheeler Laine.. The numbers prove that.. 8 million for a guy who isnt as good as Ehlers?

Morrow and Myers were both awful. I don't get why we aren't trying Buff Morrow and Myers Chia if they insist on dressing both. I think Morrow comes out tho and Niku goes in. Our forward lines right now are pretty good. Helle is getting his groove back and more used to the small equipment.. Its our D that isnt good. We have 3 legit NHL d right now.. Trouba Morrissey Buff... We need 3 more.. Poolman Niku would be a great 3rd pair if we could find a young top 4 LHD.

Think its time for Broissoit to get a game. Non divisional opponent.. I thought he'd play against NJ but nope.. He took more of the warm up than Helle did also so was surprising he didn't. Hopefully Niku draws in for Morrow at the least

Good but not great game. Loved the Bombers use of Harris and Strevs in the 2nd half tho. Excellent game plan. Game came down to 2 things tho.. 1 team kicking fgs instead of scoring TDs and the other team scoring TDs on their chances. And turnovers. Win the turnover battle. Win the game.

Trade Buff this off season and give Trouba 7.5 8 million instead. Hes 10 years younger and i feel our team has a bright future with the young guys leading the charge. Buffs NMC becomes modified July 1st..

Laine has like 2 less goals then he did at this time last year. Tanev Lowry Laine is a damn good line.. I was at the game live.. They were good together. Lots of chances.. Not just for Patty but for Tanev and Lowry too. That line works. Need Niku to desperately be that top 4 LHD tho. Chia and Morrow are awful.. Jets should also trade Myers since hes UFA and not very good. Call up Poolman to play 3 RHD. Hes looked good for the Moose.
