No it wasn't. The Jets scored 2 goals in a minute in game 6. Leafs a few years ago lost when winning by 2 or 3 with a couple minutes to go. The game wasn't over. Vegas also had a 3 1 series lead and failed. Bottom line... The game was tied going to OT.. Sharks won. Knights and their entitled fanbase lost.

Brian Little... 15 goals 41 points but played 3 weeks on the RW for some reason.. Hes a 55 point 2 center who for some dumb reason was switched to RW for weeks and did nothing. Another guy who was hurt because of coaching.

His demeanor all year.. Last year he was happy go lucky.. This season just pissed off. He is part of the problem. Based on just a bunch of little things. Points are a result of playing 2 minutes on the PP. Effort? Yup his lack of D zone effort is a concern. Hes the captain. Lead. He didnt.

I think its obvious Wheeler is part of the problem in the room. Stat padding is great but not at the expense of the team.. 91 points? Who cares.. The fact 55 and 26 weren't broken up once says all you need to know.. Not once... Huggge problem. Id trade him if i could... I like Wheeler but if its true that he is an issue he needs to go as does Maurice who let it come to this.

Id keep them both.. But if im trading one its Connor cuz he likely gets more in return and also likely will get more than 6 million a year. Why would i trade a young core player tho instead of Perreault Trouba Kulikov etc

Wheeler has been very defensive with the media the last year or so now which is odd since generally they ask softball questions. Not that its relevant but he also recently deleted his Twitter account. Theres problems for sure here with the room.

Its apparent the last second goal in game 5 was something that ended their hopes. I think choking away another lead did them in... They half said that also so that's a problem then with coaching and leadership. Maurice has said many times there a certain guys he doesn't coach and he lets them run the room ( 55 26 33) So this likely leads to problems also.. Especially if an issue was ice time distribution or the 55 26 never breaking up problem. Maurice needs to go.. For a few reasons but the main one is hes lost the room and once that happens its over... Also 6 straight home playoff losses doesn't help his cause either and gassing our top lines out then saying they were gassed. As for Wheelers F off remarks.. Not very captain like but Wheeler has been a big crybaby with the media for a while now... Its almost like he cant accept criticism. Ego is a problem
