I’m torn on Toews. He hasn’t played in 2 years and was putting up 3 center numbers the last couple years in Chicago. I’d sign him but he’s going on a conditioning stint with the moose 1st. Hasn’t played in so long. But the leadership and local guy would be huge. Agreed about needing a legit D man to play with Josh. Braden Schneider in New York or Pulock in Long Island would be my targets if the Jets finish the season how they started we are in great shape.

I don’t think they trade Ehlers if he’s unsigned at the deadline. They are 2nd overall in the league. He becomes our own rental. Our 2nd line seems to be consistently in the o zone tho. Unlike lines 1 and 4. Who tend to get caved in the d zone. Common factor seems to be a D man tho.

If Stanley was 6 feet tall he’d be in the A or not drafted. It’s just size there. That’s all he truly has. Can’t pass for **** either.
