It's so funny to me that a good season (I'll even give him very good) from a DB suddenly becomes an MOP season due to media hype... as discussed here before... Jovon Johnson's 2011 season blows Milligan's season out of the water... and he didn't even get a sniff at MOP... Milligan led the league in INTs by a whopping... *checks notes*.... one INT.... was near the top of the league in tackles.... which means teams were not afraid to throw at him.... and a lot of passes got completed against him.... and he dominated on special teams? Oh so he must've had 4 or 5 return TDs?.... oh, just a bunch of tackles.... right... honestly, it's hilarious that a website that labels itself "CFL experts" could be so clueless... no need to bother getting worked up about it EDIT: And they have Milligan as a runner up for the ST award 😆😆🤣🤣

Was there really no good defensive ends in the league this year?? When you spend all season hyping up a guy (Milligan)... you kind of have to put him on the all-star team... at least that's how the CFL media thinks... Sayles, Micah, and Willie clearly prove name recognition is more important that actual playing ability... I would take Nichols over every one of the CFL "all-stars" in the secondary

I agree with you… we were desperate to end that drought in the late teens… but man one (or ideally two) more would make it so much sweeter…

Mace did finish second in his first year as HC... so it's not completely crazy. I think the winners should be fairly obvious this year: MOP: Brady (but they will try hard to give it to Bo)... MOC: Brady is a lock... MODP: Beverette (even though the league/media desperately wants it to be Milligan)... MOOL: Hunter... MOST (most what?): Janarion... Rookie: Bridges (surprised this LB got the nob over Wilson, oh well)... Coach: Mace (because they have to give Sask something)... BC can't be picky... they can't afford to have VA and Rourke on the roster next year... if they can find a taker for him and his full contract, they have to take it...

the all-star nods are mostly reputation and stats... I don't really put too much emphasis on them... it is good fodder for agents to try and earn raises... Milligan will probably cost the riders 200k next year 😆

I like Fox on for Haba... Adams can take reps at DE... and we know he's been a load to handle there... if we could find a competent Canadian DE to include in the rotation (which still might be Hubert but obviously the teams feels he needs some more seasoning first) we could get back to having a dominant D-line... which was so key to our success in '19 and '21
