I'm surprised there aren't more NFL fans here.... I love the Bomber #1 over everything else... no question about it... but when it comes down to watching football on Sundays in the fall... I'll take NFL over a non-Bomber CFL game.... actually every year I gripe about the Banjo Bowl being on the same sunday as opening weekend... obviously I've never missed one, but I'd prefer it on Saturday night so I have sunday to enjoy opening weekend...

This is actually the best thing to happen to the Riders... they don't have the cap space to sign him to a big deal now... so they hope he'll be gone for a couple years to give them time to recover... when he's ready to return to the CFL they'll write a big fat cheque.... hope he makes it in the NFL... just so this back-fires on the riders

for those who still think 92 is classic rock... I assume you haven't listened in about 5 years... they changed their slogan to from "Classic Rock" to "World Class Rock"... tricky, I know I usually stream radio at work so I listen a bit... I've been listening to "Big FM" this morning just to check it out and so far the playlist is pretty decent... we'll see how it unfolds....

It's easy to spin that comment back to a negative towards Winnipeg.... when in reality he simply means that the Riders have been a winning organization over the last 10sih years... there was zero mention of the Bombers org...

No... Darren Cameron stated on twitter that he cannot be named as per CFL policy... however, if he signs with the Bombers they will say he was part of this deal... As per @MorningBigBlue (Mike)

I was doing some browsing over at riderfans and the consensus seems to mostly be disappointment... no one is ready to blow up the entire team yet, but no one terribly thrilled with this move.... Common comment :"if he stays healthy, he could be a a good one"... sound familiar??

C'mon now, that's uncalled for.... Bob Cole is a legend... sure he's lost a step (or 7)... sure he only recognizes about 1/3 of the players in the league... sure he has trouble following the play most of the time.... but that legendary voice will never die!

I think you're slightly missing the point... adding a guy like Vermette is not suddenly gonna make our bottom 6 so good that we can roll 4 lines.... The LA example was perfect.... they're 4 centers last year were Kopitar, Carter, Stoll, Richards... while we currently have Sheifele, Little, Lowry, Slater... not exactly an even comparison....do you really want Peluso or Thorburn on the ice (ever) in the playoffs??
