I like what Duane Forde said about Spooner.... not the best cfl ready OL in the draft but the most athletic and highest ceiling... We don't need an OL to start this year so if Spooner takes a few years to develop, maybe it'll line up nicely with the return or Geoff Gray and we have a solid foundation on the OL for years to come...

I think I'd like the pick to be Dariusz Bladek... he's not the biggest position of need... but when you eliminate the NFL bound players he looks like the top player on the board to me... I think the Bombers can still get a good D-lineman at 6 or 15...

What is Penton history reporting on hockey?... I can only really recall him being a football reporter... but I'm sure every sports reporter in Canada has worked in hockey at some point in their career...

Serious question... why does everyone hate Ekatitie so much?... I watched the highlight film posted above.... he gets double teamed on a lot of those plays... seems to have a high motor and sniffs out the ball carrier well... looked decent to me... but I don't exactly analyse a lot of tape...

The niners were very high on Rogers last year... then the leg (or was it knee?) injury.... then a 2-14 season... then a regime change... and now Rogers is looking for work... that's how quickly you can go from hero to zero in this business...

it's the kind of year that could see 10 different analysts/bloggers create 10 completely different mock drafts... actually the CFL draft is usually like that! at least he can afford it now... plus chicken is much cheaper in the US...

I'd have to find it, but I'm pretty sure in the article that announced he was eligible for the draft as a NI he mentioned something about following the Bombers while getting into the CFL...

I think it had to do with the fact that we had him, then released him for an NFL opportunity, then thought enough of him to bring him back... lead a lot of us to believe there was real starter potential there... Or we just really wanted someone to call the Fresh Prince....

How could you not be inspired playing with Clarke MacCurther and Craig Anderson... that team certainly looks like they have something to play for... Bang on... don't sleep on Nashville... Edmonton might get past Anaheim... but Nashville looks like the team to beat right now...

I realize you made this comment before Gray signed with Green Bay... but I'm wondering if your opinion is still that same knowing he wouldn't be here for, at least, 3 years... maybe never... Green Bay is known for developing their UDFAs.... Gray is known as a guy who is willing to put in the work... seems like a match made in heaven from both sides...

yeah I kinda just read the headline and the first paragraph and thought this guy could be a first rounder... then after reading the whole thing it sounds like he may be a futures pick for someone later in the draft...
