Around The League Regular Season Discussion
This is just business and though it's sounds nasty, it's part of the GM's job description not to spend money unwisely, Good question for both sides to ponder when re-negotiating a contract, "Has the money paid so far been fairly earned?" Both sides will have to honestly answer "no" in this case.

Nicholls's Potential Bonus
Goosen is playing so much better then he did through the first 4 games, it's a remarkable transition.

John Chiles Released
Other than Watkins I don't see these tall DB's establishing themselves around the league, most are still "average" height. Jones has an obsession with height over experience and we can see how well that is working for him. Plus Adams repeatedly torched Watkins in the last EE match.

Bombers @ Alouettes
Doubt it happens this week, the Als would demand more notice.

Bombers @ Alouettes
That speaks volumes in itself, if his only position is LB and he has to replace one of the incumbents he may never get a shot. It looks like he is sitting somewhere behind Knox and Burnett on the depth chart.

Bombers @ Alouettes
Pay attention to him as a receiver and gang tackling, Wild and Bass should be busy.

Bombers @ Alouettes
I think Macho is in real danger of being cut loose, Leggett is a great backup at S. and Randle can back up the SAM LB position with Roberts or Frederick covering the corner.

John Chiles Released
Your mistake was using the word "useless". They're all good prospects.

Bombers @ Alouettes
I think Sherman makes a bigger impact than Waggoner but they're not likely to admit that yet.

John Chiles Released
I don't buy that, they've all got talent, it's just a matter of one or two of them stepping up and finding their groove.

Bombers @ Alouettes
True enough, the resurgence happened when they moved Hardrick to RT and inserted Bond. Still his enthusiasm is contagious and he gets everybody going around him, that's a big part of leadership.

John Chiles Released
I'd prefer to give Davis, Mayo, Shepherd, K. Adams and McDuffie more time to establish themselves over picking up Chiles. It's time for the Bombers to jump off the green re-tread carousel.

Bombers @ Alouettes
Sure hope Hardrick hasn't lost his job to Foketi and it's just injury related. Hardrick has been an emotional spark plug for the team and his attitude has infected the entire O-line and finally brought them to life and that has been the key to this brief turn-around.

Best part is, Chiles was paid a $30,000 signing bonus.

Bombers Release Tim Cronk
Haidara also gone. Winnipeg Blue Bombers Transactions - August 24, 2016 WINNIPEG, MB., August 24, 2016 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the release of National receiver Seydou Junior Haidara from the practice roster.

Bombers Release Tim Cronk
My guess is Sherman.

Back From Bye: Week 10 vs Montreal
Even Medlock has a hard time kicking a nice tight spiral.

Nicholls's Potential Bonus
The difference is Nichols was probably making around $150,000 as a backup in Edm. and never hit the contract bonanza. If Nichols stays healthy this year Willy is unlikely to see the field again and will have to be dealt with in the off-season. If he agrees to a 50% pay cut fine, he can try to win the starting job back again next season.

Question about Rod Pederson vs other media
Rod is attached the Riders butt like glue, so he knew that the allegations were true and yet he attacks other journalists for questioning the Riders ethics. Unbelievable. I'm hoping the next time Bob Irving has the dweeb on his pre-game show he takes off the gloves and shows Pedersen why he's called "knuckles". Have a sammich Roddy. POW! Bob's my hero.

Back From Bye: Week 10 vs Montreal
All McDuffie really needs is a QB that can hit him in full flight, once he has that established there will be no more complainting.

Willy for Durant?
Franklin will be a huge gamble for any team if he's anointed starter next season. Without a vet QB in place to back him up there is a very good chance the wolves devour him, especially if he lands in Sask. if they dump Durant.

In Case You Missed It
It's almost inexplicable how the D started playing better after the team switched to Nichols. The D-line and the LB personnel has basically been the same since the start of the season, it's only in the secondary where injuries took their toll that there has been large scale change. 4 and sometimes 5 rookies have outplayed the original slated starters where there was only supposed to be one position open to a rookie in Washington's old spot. They've uncovered at least 3 future starters through accidental circumstance. I would like to hear from Richie Hall if he made adjustments to his game-plan when these injuries occurred to try help out the rookies. To my untrained eye it seems with the stronger D-line play Bass has been given more latitude to roam in the role of MLB and is not handcuffed to the D-line as Hurl often was last year. Wild and Bass are now playing like the tandem of Solly and Bighill in BC and creating an equal amount of havoc for opposing offences.
