I saw the Vikings just released him this morning. He'd be great.

Kuale also plays DE, FB and TE. O'Shea and Etch will love him. His versatility all but guarantees it's him.

    Pretty sure it's Kuale.

I'd rather have a sure fire starter than 2-3 backups/ST players. I'm not convinced either that Gill is a sure fire CFL starter.

I've been wrong before, but my money says Walters still takes Goossen at 2, if Ottawa takes Lavertu.
  6. I think Newman is going to be a real good pickup.

That would be a dream if Ottawa takes Foucault and Bombers get Lavertu.

Why would the Bombers trade out if they need OL help? Makes no sense.Makes plenty of sense if you're looking to maximize value. Goossen at 2 is not good value. In a shallow draft trading out is not a good move. You're misinterpreting the meaning of shallow. The top 15 stacks up against most draft classes. It falls off somewhere shortly after that if you ask most scouts. Tyler will probably be able to put a more exact analysis together though. My understanding is that the drop off starts after the first round.

Most of the pre-draft drama never actually happens.

My guess is Kuale or Isaac.

At the fan forum tonight I was able to have a conversation with Walters, just him and me and I asked him specifically about his thoughts on Lavertu vs Goossen. He said Lavertu is more ready to start, but that Goossen has a higher ceiling. He voluntarily went on to talk more about Goossen saying he's a very nice young man, he's religious, but when he gets on the field he wants to hurt people and has a real mean streak. My impression in chatting with Walters is that he'd be happy with either.
  14. At the fan forum tonight I asked about the offensive line. O'Shea said he's looking to hire an assistant offensive line coach. Smart move as Wylie might not be here forever so good to have another coach learning. O'Shea also said that if Wylie was going to return to the CFL he wanted it to be with Winnipeg.
  15. @CFL_News: RT .@qbtracker: Montreal Alouettes may have signed UDFA QB Bo Cordell, out of Tusculum #CFL #alouettes

@mitchrosset: RT @DerekOnGlobal Contrary to a report, Manitoba DT Evan Gill says his quad injury is minor and that he's still running and working out
  18. We're cutting a lot of talented players just to fit Etcheverry's scheme. I don't like this one bit, especially considering Etch won't be with the Bombers next season.
  19. Him and Bellefeuille are dating.
  20. Did you watch any Bomber games last season? Cauchy is terrible...got burned on several TDs. Cauchy himself likely cost us a few games all by himself.
  21. @scratchingpost: Just spit balling, but would think both #Ticats & #Argos might look at former #Bombers S Cauchy Muamba. From the area, fits ratio.
  22. Maybe they are releasing players in reverse alphabetical order....... That's the only logical explanation.

does this mean his stock will drop? Read my post above yours. That'll sure make him drop.

@FarhanLaljiTSN: Been lots of talk lately that Gill's been wanting to go back to school so that he could try 2015 NFL draft. Inj might make that call easier
  25. I'm disappointed Parker was released, but it typically takes at least 12 months to recover from a torn ACL, and 2 years until your back to 100% (unless of course you are Adrian Peterson).
