Confused as to why I'm not seeing W as the predicted winner for every year for the next 50 years. Weird. Knew AI was a joke. This proves it.

The thing that I question is expectations. It seems that the Toronto Maple Leafs have higher expectations than the Winnipeg Jets.

Not having any of the behind the scenes info on this really aids in this move making no sense. Wow. What a tough gig being a professional head coach.

Debbie Downer here. They’re past the point of no return. Worst scenario is they’ll finish just outside of the playoffs negating a high draft pick and continue the illusion of not needing a significant re-tool, just need some slight tweaks. Or as I lower my debbie downer glasses and go all in they surge into the playoffs and win it all. :)

Worst thing that can happen is we finish just outside the playoffs from a draft point of view and lessening the urgency to do a major retool for next year. We’ve entered that no mans land as in too late to tank and the odds are against us in slipping into the playoffs.

Wow a 30 point difference from last season. A gradual drop off it is not. I’m hoping for a thorough autopsy that reveals the true causes of death. Thought I’d go with the morbid approach on a glorious Monday that it is. :)

This coming season my man ZC is going to stay healthy, light it up, lead us to Grey Cup victory and retire on top. At the very least it feels good writing this. Off season hope.

I know you’re probably just using it as an example, but it’s not just one player. The whole dna of this team is Chevy and company’s doing. He’s done a lot of great things with the challenges of a being a small market team but with everything comes a shelf life.

I’m not sure the biggest issue is a coaching problem, maybe more of a GM discussion.

Passive instead of aggressive, collapsing in instead of trying to force the play is sometimes viable but also comes with huge consequences. I myself like a aggressive approach with risks and all to dictate the play.

As much as I loathe the Oilers and the Leafs, hate to see these injuries to Matthews and Draisaitl.

So just that I’m clear it seems to be implied here that it’s next to impossible in this current football climate to uncover/find a quality QB2 that WBB’s management and coaching staff would be confident in running our offense this coming season if ZC is unable to do for whatever reason?

If we start the season with a qb2 that the head coach and oc have no faith/confidence to have him run the offence if ZC can’t, big fail.

What would be a reasonable expectation of fans toward Bomber Management and Scouting in having a serviceable QB2 in case ZC can’t ’get back out there’? I’m asking cuz I don’t know the answer, key word in the question being reasonable.
