Around The NHL 2019/2020
Yup but it's a loser mentality (i.e., best thing to happen would be to finish last) for future gain the way it was written. Not my cup of tea when it comes to living in the moment in competitive sport.

Around The NHL 2019/2020
For the patience part all I ask as a fan is how it's said. 'We want to win now, we want to win the Stanley Cup and we are always looking at player additions/development for us to achieve that' versus 'We are in rebuild, doesn't happen overnight, it's very complicated you wouldn't understand be patient good things to come'. I like the first approach much more, the mindset gets me jacked then then patronizing tone of the second approach that gives me no confidence.

2019/2020 Pre-Season
Ironically it seemed the only team that Letestu played well against was the Jets.

Read Ian Mendes article entitled 'One more awful season is exactly what the Sens need'. Really frustrating to read for me and made me yell at the clouds. He argues Sens need that 1st pick for their final piece of rebuild. I get the logic somewhat but getting first round draft picks doesn't guarantee anything, see Edmonton Oilers. Not to mention if you seriously are setting up/hoping your team to lose to get that pick, then the common fan (which in today's hockey economy mean less and less other than being marketed) needs to be reimbursed as they are paying for NHL caliber not AHL caliber. So why don't they just default every game and secure the most lottery balls. Sheesh.

Game 1/82: Jets @ Rags
To the moment we were knocked out of the 2018/2019 playoffs last season to now, this is the defense core put together for opening day/? Trust the process trust the process trust the process

2019/2020 Pre-Season
To retain Buff, we need to strategically give him time off throughout the season (i.e., 'have fun fishing, playing with your kids see you when you get back')

Hate the Oilers but I think Milan Lucic and Tobias Reider should repay the money they stole from the Oilers organization. Milan Lucic in his words put too much pressure on himself playing for them. Whatever. Billionaire hockey owners making gobs of money doesn't negate expecting a certain level of productivity from a well paid hockey player.

Great line by a coach.

Okay there you have it, the parameters. Get your keyboards ready.

GDT - Little Kitties @ Blue Bombers
What do his coaches say on all of this when the doors are closed? Seriously he's a repeat offender still allowed on the field. The coaches have some responsibility on this as well.

I'll be interested in seeing how long it takes him to stick out a knee his first game against Toronto.

Laine comments
Glad he signed. Now, as fans, what can we reasonable expect from this talented young hockey player for the next two years? i.e., expectations that correlate with the money he is/was compensated for his services? Need the answer so when people post their good/bad observations of his play/production, they'll know the parameters. 🙂

Game Day Thread: Week 15- Bombers @ Als, Khari Redux Edition
Good or bad I think it may be other teams management who may be considering giving him another chance at HC. Whether some people like it or not, he knows football inside out. However does that translate well onto the field, how well he can work with others who have different opinions on certain football schemes and is he able to flex his system when needed are all up for debate. If I was considering him to be a HC for my team, these are the things I would focus on with him.

Bombers or nothing for me but I sure did enjoy when they showed Khari on the sidelines getting jazzed up like a prize fighter right before a big match as the Als were making their comeback. That was pretty cool.

Playcalling or execution? Play-by-play breakdown of offence vs. Mtl.
Ultimately MOS will move on or be shown the door. Timetable unknown. The adage coaches are hired to be fired rings true in most cases.

Week Of: TiCats @ Bombers
It will also be interesting to watch what happens when our players face in-game adversity again. Will they tighten up again or will they shake it, power through and deliver the kill shot (s). This is where good coaches thrive.

2019/2020 Pre-Season
Man, that looks scary without Laine, Buff and Conn. Depth is our friend, yes? Please?

Week Of: TiCats @ Bombers
Its going to be real interesting in how this team responds this week. Fragile? Hope not. A **** kicking on the Cats would be nice.

Playcalling or execution? Play-by-play breakdown of offence vs. Mtl.
Yup Lapo and Babcock are similar that way. Both are really good coaches but it feels they can get real stubborn at times in not adjusting their system when needed, sometimes to the peril of their respective teams. Lapo comes across as thinking he is the smartest guy in the room when it comes to his craft which sometimes isn't true.

Vernon Adams Jr suspended
Another advantage offense. Sheesh.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but...
No one's getting fired with a 9 and 4 record or even been warned. Yet.

Game Day Thread: Week 15- Bombers @ Als, Khari Redux Edition
Maybe, but im not sold on noodle arm Adams yet. With the way our db coverage was last game there were many times Adams had a receiver but had a hard time hitting them in stride. His only saving grace on some plays was there was no db in good position allowing the receiver huge latitude to adjust to the ball.

3 stars plus HH Sacre bleu
And Milt Stegall was an okay receiver.
