Jets are the #3 team in the NHL in winning percentage right now. Only behind the Rangers and Bruins, tied with the Stars, better than the Avs, Knights, Canucks, Kings, Leafs, Lightning, Panthers, Oilers, Canes, Devils et al. Hands up all who saw that coming. (Hey, you with your hand up…..quit lying!)

For any car racing fans, Cale Yarborough (NASCAR in the 70’s) and Gil de Ferran (Indy car in the 90’s) both died today.

Trying not to get too high, remembering a post Xmas slump or two in the past few years, but boy is this team looking strong right now.

Yep, switched to a 17 game schedule in 2021. And the weird thing is that the 17th game is not always a neutral site location, despite the increase in London and Mexico City contests. Weird to have an unbalanced home and away schedule.

If Justin Dunk and 3Down’s reports are accurate, he will make $435,000 US ($580,000 Cdn) this year (max value was $750,000 US if he had been on the active roster all season), and in year 2 of his 3 year rookie NFL contract, he’s scheduled to make up to $915,000 US, then $1,030,000 US in year 3.

Well we get a point, but I hate that a power play in OT is 4 on 3. A much bigger advantage than 5 on 4. I wish that if they do that, they should shorten the PP to one minute (or half of the remaining time)
