Game 28 : @LAKing PLD
The last 7 minutes was textbook lockdown by the Jets, save for maybe 20 seconds of 6 on 5 pressure. Huge win. I did not expect much from this team this year, very pleasantly surprised.

I’d say earning their comeback, not stealing anything.- Game 27: @ Shark Tank(ing)
Late call gives the Jets one more chance on the PP Special teams are killing the Jets from being an elite team.- Game 27: @ Shark Tank(ing)
So Vilardi gets rewarded after his GWG with top line minutes, Barron to the 2nd line, and JF back in all in the wake of KFC’s absence. Schmidt replaces Stanley. Brossy gets the start, Helle being saved for tomorrow. Jets looking to match a season-high win streak at 5 tonight to re-claim top spot in the Central. San Jose has played surprisingly well recently, with points in seven of their last nine games, including five wins. A win tonight, and they climb out of last place in the league.- Game 27: @ Shark Tank(ing)
Thanks. Was working off my iPhone so probably the problem here- Game 27: @ Shark Tank(ing)
Still cannot figure out how to copy and paste the line-up from the other page, so here it is: Ehlers-Scheifele-Vilardi Perfetti-Namestnikov-Barron Niederreiter-Lowry-Appleton Jonsson-Fjallby-Gustafsson-Iafallo Morrissey-DeMelo Dillon-Pionk Samberg-Schmidt Broissoit Hellebuyck- Game 26: @ Anaheim
A suspended player can appeal a suspension (often with the assistance of the NHLPA, who care more about a player losing a paycheque via fine or suspension than a player’s health). But can an injured player or the club appeal a non-suspension? I think I know the answer, but would like to hear a “why not? explanation”- Game 26: @ Anaheim
Do we do a “bang-bang” if one is an empty netter?- Game 26: @ Anaheim
I unable to post it on here after I copy it. Any suggestions?- Game 26: @ Anaheim
Tied up! Barron gets the greasy rebound off a Morrissey shot. I’ll do it but I have trouble copying and pasting the lineup page. Where do you get it from?- Game 26: @ Anaheim
Jets go down by two but quickly get one back with Neiderreiter answering.- Game 26: @ Anaheim
Feel like they are going to need an ugly, greasy 4th line goal to have a chance here.- Game 26: @ Anaheim
5 minute power play but no Connor or Scheifele on it.- Game 26: @ Anaheim
Good news - Jets have won 5 straight against the Ducks, including the last two road games in Anaheim Really good news - Anaheim is the 4th worst team in the NHL Really really good news - Anaheim is 1-10 in their last 11 (the win was in a shootout) Really really really good news - a Jets win and they are first in the Central (knock wood for no jinx).- Game 25: @ Colorado
Connor seals it. Big character win tonight. Did not want to jinx it by mentioning it earlier, but this is now 15 straight games giving up 3 goals or less.- Game 25: @ Colorado
Crossed the line. Why would it not?- Game 25: @ Colorado
Connor actually. After a nifty MacKinnon goal blowing by Stanley, JoMo makes it 3-1 That looked in. Waiting for the horn. Yup. 3-2- The MLB/Goldeyes Thread
They did. They were thinking specifically of this fan - why ruin his fun with a roof?- Game 25: @ Colorado
Size? I honestly am trying to figure that out myself. Is he a better option than Schmidt even? If he shot right-handed it might make more sense.- Which Vets do we cut next season
Because mistakes were made, no one claimed differently. Zach’s INT and Brady’s fumble, for example, are two mistakes that almost certainly cost us points that would have made the difference.- Around The NHL 2023-24
The club said what he did was nothing criminal. That would qualify as indecent exposure.- Game 23: vs Bedard
Now if Team Canada only had a goaltender.- Peter Ribbins - Seeking Memories of Peter Daniel Ribbins' Time with Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1971-1976)
As has been mentioned by @Booch, Joe Pascucci would be the best to touch base with for any video clips, as he acts as an unofficial club historian with lots of archival stuff from his days at CKND (had the foresight to save the stuff). The Free Press has their online archive, or you could attend the Winnipeg Centennial library to view their entire microfilm catalogue (which would allow you to print any pages from any issue of the paper, provided you know which dates you are looking for). They may have some newspaper photos. As for the club, not sure if the Alumni Association could help, but try their website at www.bomberalumni.com and reach out to them if you have any specific requests. I also saw that the club posted an obituary for your dad on the www.bluebombers.com website back in 2011 (you can still find a link to it by searching your dad’s name on Google), so they might be of assistance too. Finally, as you have seen, @SpeedFlex27 is our resident go-to guy for the past living history of the club, especially the 1970’s era, so he would have a trove of memories for you. Best of luck with your search.- Game 22: McDavid vs. Jets
