Game 77 : @Saturday Night Clubbing
I’m frustrated too. They showed no intensity through the first 35 minutes of the game, and blew a golden opportunity with Dallas losing today, which they would have known before the opening faceoff. But Hellebuyck made some huge saves on high danger chances. He was the only reason it wasn’t 6-0 after 2 periods. Jets lost in spite of his play, not because of it. Injuries are not helping either. Completely changes our power play, which did not need extra reasons to struggle.

Game 77 : @Saturday Night Clubbing
Are you suggesting he was bad tonight?

Game 77 : @Saturday Night Clubbing
Scheifele and Hellebuyck appear to be the only players interested in trying in the first period. Jets go to Sin City and look completely dialled in, then go to Mormon Central and look completely distracted for the second time this year. Go figure.

Game 76 : @Falling From The Stratosphere
I was somewhat unsettled after the LA game. Coach Arniel seemed to have had a more positive view of the effort than I did, but last night soothed a lot of my concerns and showed again why coaches are coaches and fans are fans. Team was dialled in from the start, that was a playoff-style effort and game plan. Hopefully the injury bug is not rearing its head now after a fairly clean year, but a result like that renews my good vibes about this team finishing first and making a deep run. Exciting times.

Amazing consistency by the Jets all year. They have had 3 big win streaks (7, 8, and 11) and only one significant losing streak (4 games), but here are their monthly records: 9-1-0 October 9-5-0 November 9-5-1 December 9-3-2 January 6-1-0 February 9-4-1 March

Sorry to burst your bubble of hate-on for Stanley, but that was Schenn’s man to cover. Stanley was playing the puck carrier as he should have.

- The NHL Playoff Chase
Only way the Oilers are a first round match-up is if they utterly collapse and either Calgary or Vancouver pass them for third in the division. This also assumes St. Louis misses the playoffs.- The NHL Playoff Chase
So what do people think is the best first round opponent scenario for the Jets? Right now I would rank them as follows: 1. Minnesota falls to 8th behind St Louis and we meet them as the #1 seed - if Kaprizov comes back that may change my view, but I think this is our best match-up and easiest travel load 2. Calgary - they can’t score much, only X factor is Dustin Wolf on net stealing a game or two. 3. Vancouver - Demko’s return changes things a bit, and they have always had more talent than they have shown, but it would be surprising if they played this badly and had so many psychological issues all year to suddenly shrug them off in the playoffs and be a threat again. 4. St. Louis - I think we can take them, but they are on a roll like they weee in 2019 and I don’t wish to repeat that first round match-up if we can avoid it. 5. We fall to second and face Dallas who fall to third- would suck to blow the division lead now and have to run the gauntlet of Stars - Avalanche in two rounds 6.We finish 2nd and face the Avs, I think we have a better teams but they have the better stars who can dominate for one round. Thoughts?- Random Jets News
Good job by the Jets to let Schenn go home for a day or two.- The NHL Playoff Chase
