Will The Als Fire Tom Higgins If We Beat Them Friday?
Don't beat yourself up too badly- I would have been happy to see him signed as well. I thought he was a pretty good coach in his previous times, but he looks as lost now as Burke did in his last days. Higgins may be caught in a urinating contest between Popp and the owner(s) and with the dismal quarterbacking of the team, he may have figured out that he was boned no matter what.

Do or Die Detailed Half Time Report...
Kromah looks like the real thing at middle linebacker- will reassess after the Banjo Bowl If we can't spread the ball around to other receivers better than we did against Montreal, we're going to struggle down the stretch Its starting to look like neither Kelly nor Bryant are The Answer at receiver.Time to start dialing. Wild's number of tackles last night nearly equaled Kuale's for the whole freaking year- goodbye Mr. Kuale. We should have been able to thump Montreal a lot worse than we did. Not good enough to challenge for a payoff run. We still haven't found an adequate replacement for Charlie Roberts. Neither Bellefeuille nor Etcheverry have wowed their critics. Willy continues to impress- can't wait to see him work with a good O-line, good running game and a competitive set of receivers

Any attendance numbers for tonights game?
A very good turnout considering the threatening weather.

Game Day Thread - Montreal @ Winnipeg - 7:30pm
You have every right to disagree but I believe at least 2 and maybe 3 of those turnovers were the direct result of Stublejumper pressure, and their running game denied the Bomber offense any chance to close the game out. If we'd had a decent running game, we could have not needed to try high-risk passes and kept the opposing offenses off the field.

Game Day Thread - Montreal @ Winnipeg - 7:30pm
Have to disagree with you on this one. We lost to both Sask and Toronto for the same reasons: Willy was under pressure all night, we couldn't stop the run when it mattered and we couldn't run the ball to save our lives. Expect Montreal to follow the same game plan that the Roughies and Boatmen used, and if Bowman has the same success as Chick did, we're in big trouble in this game. If Montreal wins, they have a chance to both save Higgins' job and the season. If we lose, the next time we look up we could be on a six game losing streak and seeing the playoffs disappearing in the distance. Confidence is a fragile thing sometimes and if the Bombers don't win convincingly tonight, its gonna be a long season from here on in and we could be 7 and 11 at the end.

SJ Green to the Riders?
The Roughies will definitely become a Cup contender with Green, but i don't think we would be a good fit. We're still way off being a contender due to having too many other holes in our lineup and we would have to give up too much.

Put all the lipstick you want on that oinker, its still an oinker.

Welcome, but we reserve the right to mock you (and Saskatchewan) at every opportunity.

There are paraplegics who would be better than Cauchy.

Scrap divisions?
Precisely. Y'all should peruse the standings all the way back to 2000. You'll find that the teams with the worst records...missed the playoffs...every bloody year. People are way too worked about about the standings after a heavy east vs. west schedule. It's going to change a lot as there are more divisional games. I worry about society sometimes with how short attention spans are. Ummmm...what were we talking about?

Kromah likely to make Bomber debut Friday
Is this sexual innuendo?
-
Ameet Pall
The question is why did Pall fall out of favour so fast- was it lack of effort, personal stuff getting in the way, a nagging injury or was he just not fit enough? If there was a specific, remediable cause and Pall has taken steps to fix it/them, then he may be worth a shot. Otherwise, Walmart is always looking for greeters.

Looks like the designers weren't completely stoned when they did this one.

Cohon not seeking 3rd term as commish
Cohon was a great Commissioner and we need to hope that his replacement will be at least as good. Thank you, Mr. Cohon for making the CFL the most stable and professional in decades.

Kromah likely to make Bomber debut Friday
For the record: O'Shea announced this afternoon that Kromah was in the lineup for Friday replacing Kuale.

Kromah likely to make Bomber debut Friday
I'm pulling for Kromah. If he can't beat out Kuale then it may be curtains. I prefer drapes or blinds.

Will you buy the new Bomber Jersey?

If it takes an hour for you to poop, you'd better see a doctor.- Lineup changes?
Bowman has been having a very good year so far on a team which is not, so he may well be the key player for the Larks on Friday night.- Introduce Yourself
Welcome aboard- and optimism here has been scarce and is almost scary now.- Stamps Signature Helmet
Not bad at all.- Muamba, Inman, Dressler, Sheets
Taman's M.O. In full effect. Steal from Peter to pay Paul. Do you think the dogs would be howling here if we did that en route to winning the Grey Cup? Most likely we would be pooh-poohing it as a minor "oversight".- Dan LeFevour suffers torn ACL
CFL experience- Austin's quarterback inventory is pretty low at the moment and Collaros didn't look that great when he was vertical.- Dan LeFevour suffers torn ACL
And suddenly Brian Brohm has to have a lot more market value in Hamilton. Should Walters want to trade him, he should be able to ask almost whatever he wants from Austin.- Lineup changes?
If Howard is still at OT, we may be in trouble. Bowman is very good and very relentless, and has embarrassed some good tackles. I shudder to think what he will do to Howard. Willy has been beaten up a bit the last few games and one good thump due to a clear shot from Bowman (or other Montreal D-linemen) and we could be looking at Brohm in a hurry, then suddenly the field is no longer tilted towards Montreal. - Will you buy the new Bomber Jersey?
