Week 7 Edm@BC - Mont@Ott - Sask@Tor
THAT ought to do it for the Riders' pride.

Week 7 Edm@BC - Mont@Ott - Sask@Tor
Horribly disjointed game with sloppy play by both teams. Neither Sask nor Toronto seem to want to win badly.

Garrett Waggoner
Nothing but upside for Waggoner. He appears to have the smarts, the right passport, and the physical tools. All he needs is adaptation to the CFL nd experience and we just might have another Muamba but one who doesn't flee the to USofA.

Big Ben Available
Cut Nic(ked) Moore and use the money to land Heenan. Winnipeg is only 5 1/2 hrs by car from Regina.

Week 7 Edm@BC - Mont@Ott - Sask@Tor
I have a feeling that Sunday's game is going to be a lot like this and a toss-up to boot.

If he did, he's about 30 years too late.

Week 7 Edm@BC - Mont@Ott - Sask@Tor
No matter which side you are cheering for, this is a good, entertaining, competitive game which bodes very well for the teams and the CFL.

Michael Sam not overpowering anyone just yet.

August 3 practice update
Did he specify in which part of Gibson's body this was happening and how he came to know this?

Week 7 Edm@BC - Mont@Ott - Sask@Tor
I have a totally unsubstantiated hunch that Ottawa will beat Montreal.

August 3 practice update
Sunday would be a good day to make it so.

Week 7 Edm@BC - Mont@Ott - Sask@Tor
Good on BC to humble the great and mighty Jones and his Eskimos. Comfusion to all of our enemies!

It's time for the Riders to start sucking ...
All the Rider fans are saying is that he is looking OK despite the fact that it was his first start. His inexperience still comes through. Its called "whistling past the graveyard".

Week 6 other games, other teams
The Blue ought to have had a large infusion of confidence after trouncing BC and Willy's performance in particular should inspire his team. You are correct in that this will not be an easy game even with the gaps in Hamilton's lineup but Gable was a tough runner and Fantuz a clutch receiver, so the hill got a little less steep.

Week 6 other games, other teams
With two of Hamilton's big pieces missing, this may be the best chance the Blue have of beating the Tabbies for awhile.

Around the CFL Regular Season Discussion
Grigsby's a joke. Meh. All we need do is place tacklers near the sidelines at the line of scrimmage and he will head right for them as soon as he has the ball.

August 3 practice update
If Bryant is just nicked a bit and Greaves is taking reps at LT just to keep focussed, then a lot of sphincters will slowly unclench.

Football casting call
Maybe "Beef Jerky" would have been better. Lets see if anyone can pick up on that reference.

Week 6 other games, other teams
O'Shea said he's hopeful Bryant plays. We'd all better be hopeful that Bryant plays. Willy ought to be praying constantly for this as well.

Around the CFL Regular Season Discussion
Why do you say that? Before he was drafted, he said it was his lifelong dream to play for the Bombers. You think the Riders 0-6 start to the season has made him fall in love with Regina? I've heard he was looking forward to playing and living elsewhere after spending his whole life here, at least for the first few years of his career anyways. Living in Regina for six months will seem like a decade almost anywhere else, so I can sort of understand your thinking.

Rocket Robin Hood and Other Toons
Actually, the name refers to an undersized porta-potty.
