  1. If not, there are several CFL teams who would snap him up.
  2. And "loss of civic pride".
  3. The Jets, their pouting superstar and GM have not impressed anyone for several years, so edge: Bombers.
  4. Well, maybe. If the Argos can beat the Bombers with a starting lineup peppered with B team players, the ought to give them a huge psychological lift. Even if the Bombers squeak out a win, it would be almost as beneficial for the Argos. If, on the other hand, Bombers trounce the Boatmen, the Argos can comfort themselves with "well, it wasn't our best lineup". The key might be to humble Kelly with sacks, knockdowns, hard hits and maybe an INT or two.
  5. No doubt Shoen had a few bruises after getting hammered by the TiCats.
  6. Impressive resume and apparently runs like a deer.
  7. Defending your master's thesis? Butt pucker time, but if your advisor thinks it's good, it will be.

The BC Lions are gonna be in tough to play two games in one week.
  9. There is a good reason that cops call motorcycles "organ donor transport vehicles".

Actually, chickens can be carnivores under the right circumstances, even callibalistic.

Curling: they invented a game as boring to watch as golf, and then added housework.
  12. Whole series was poorly done.
  13. It's getting cooler- beware of frostbite in low-lying areas if you are going commando like a true Scot.

Pandemics and their mutations are notoriously difficult to predict. Keep your options open.
  16. Then they ought to go to the local casino- their odds are much better there.

It is, but much city funding comes from the provincial government. Doesn't look like the largess will save the Cons' bacon, though.
  18. In all probability, neither the coaches nor the GM have a future there, either.

There is some evidence, albeit fragmentary at this time, that eating flesh of animals that have ingested antibiotics for a long time or shortly before being processed can build antibiotic resistance in consumers. There is solid proof that producers were overusing antibiotics in their animals as prophylactic measures. So far as I am aware, that practice has been largely stopped.

I would want proof before I accepted that at face value.

Don't get me started on Catholic/Papal involvement in Nazi atrocities.

We are seeing work being done that was delayed for years and is now finally being accomplished. Does seem to be getting better, though, and the improvements are great!
  23. Saw him in concert- a great entertainer with a voice that would make your grocery list worth hearing.

And yet vaccinating domestic animals has not slowed at all.
  25. The TV networks have to still remember the debacle of the last XFL. It wasn't just the lost money, but watchers could see the almost-empty stands and amateurish play. A total embarrassment to all. The only good that came of it was that a very few players managed to make it to legitimate teams.
