Will stand in to let stuff develop...has best arm...

Yup...get those young guys in now..and get them as contributors early and often..key for our roster and depth and ability to have some nice positional options with our DA's I actually excited to in seeing what Peterson does with the rock. Yeah I can't see us burning a DA on a linebacker ...especially if Makonzo becomes healthy too...but who are they gonna be...I know osh likes to favor vets and guys who been here but J.Jones and Ayers if they make the case for Mac and Will..does Osh have the onions to park Wilson and T.Jones on the PR..Injured or even cut? J.Jones is a way more complete player than T.Jones so interesting to see who gets that spot...I hope it's an earned position and not a gifted one

I think the global will be rostered as well to come off edge..and elsewhere but I like your idea.. Yeah..Adams versatility is huge..plus for a big guy he is quick as a cat and can't see why both don't stick..we rostered both at times last yr..and with Shay and Smith...good chance we dont DA and import LB so that is helpful That is the plan and he wasn't gonna sign here if all he was gonna be allowed to do is the same crap Buck put him thru And when he got zero reps in practice as a QB...and wirh the number 1's...well that didnt help his cause when he did get put in...and he still gutted out and willed a win for us

Agreed....our qb play was not a reason we won the cups ....didnt hurt us....but wasnt the key reason....even last 2 yrs....sure ZC put some numbers up....but defence again...was theengine that drove us....that and BO And in college.....and seemed to make the throws required in his NFL journey....this is the yr for him to show it....new OC....He has changed his mechanics...his platform for when he gonna throw and his footwork....4 yrs of NFL coaching along with the school he runs has redefined him.....when we practically did all we could to destroy him Heart...guts...attitude and ability to have guys follow him is also key

Did ZC lead us tho to 5 cups...or was he the QB of the team that went to 5? Not trying to be a nit picker here but sure he solidified the QB spot but several of the cup appearances were more due to other factors and the ones we won he was average at best...and when we had roster issues and a much weaker defensive front and decided to play injured guys...he didnt drag us to victory either...so I kinda on the fence as him being anything over 450k at this point

450 should be his ceiling now...that and no big upfront money and he has to prove he is clearly head and shoulders the best QB in town...not given the job based on yrs past...especially if he does the big choke...again Yup...case of us resting on laurels and complacency again...not earned but given. Lets say this yr...Strev lights it up in first game...Zc struggles in next...Strev comes in and commands things again...happens throughout first 3rd of season?? What's the smart coach do...what does Osh do? I think talk of extension should been talked about..but let first 3rd...even half the season play out first to see if it is the smart move...no rush whatsoever to extension now...he ain't t at risk going anywhere until feb 2026 Considering a ton was guaranteed and a big portion up front

As a player..and speaking from being in the room and the inner circle, moral is deteriorated more by guys who should and could be playing being bypassed for an aged vet who clearly isn't better...or a coach's favorite...players also talk and will flat out say to others..don't go to team A for this...don't go to team B for that... Players in the room know who should play and won't voice it publicly or to a writer...as it's a fast ticket out of town or in the dog house...but to trusted colleagues...that's a different story

Pretty sure Clercius is a guy to do a lot of that heavy lifting...dudes a beast and likes to get his nose dirty too. He also di a lot of that role already last year....and sometimes size doesn't necessarily translate to physicality in a receiver He has 200k already guaranteed this yr....so doubt it's that issue And seeing as we never really spent large anywhere doubt much if any was restructured or moved to next yr.....That being said he better at least have taken a 100k shave on the yr tho, as from the last couple season he is not near the 600k per yr guy he was signed for at start of that last deal...and as of yet has not proved anything that he is in the midst of some late career renaissance

he will just get moved more easily now...His only real use was sometimes getting in the way....now he can be washed away even easier if he is lighter...and define effective?...I dont see it, exactly my point last few seasons....if thats all he good for...and a stretch at that...use those reps...time and lesser salary developing a younger guy with upside and ability...why delay the process when everyone here can agree with...that JT is in no way shape or form the future...nor should be even considered as such his vison...Fav's of his will play be damned...

we a vet team as it is so his "vet leadership" is neither here nor there.....he should be looked at by coaching staff in the light of, what does he offer us right now, and next yr.....and can that same minimal contribution be replaced with a younger player...one with upside...or possible upside and at a lesser cost....especially with how we construct our ratio in that a National DT isn't really a need...and this should have been done 2...3 yrs ago already It's not a knock on Jake as a guy....moreso Jake the player now...this is pro sports and thats the nature of the beast...It's not charity

i plan to go a bunch by end of month....so you all will have to get my take haha...O've actually been useasonably busy this yr so havnt hung out most of camp like yr prior He doing o.k...But he also in the "employee of" so has his talking points I am sure he is fed He tends to also go along and support whatever Osh feelings on things are too....so there is also that aspect.. yeah....agreed....he toes the line...gives a few more words on what is said in coach/player interviews From exerience at camp...and practices during the yr the local reporters for most part aren't watching anything other than when they hear some whooping or hollerin from players on a nice play....and if they were watchig have no idea of even what they are...or need to watch to see who is actually legit...Thats why it's nice to have forum people there who take an interest in the players...especially new ones to see how they doing...and also can see first hand how some the vets are coddled and gifted spots over guys who worked thier asses off...and are actually better...but not a fav vet

forgot the most important part....NFL politics Who was drafted...who has money invested already....who has hype....and who is a CFL refugee.....Poor Pokey is missing all those 3 key ones....AND has the CFL refugee status...we will see him in the fall....if not sooner....he may not even get to main camp..sadly for him...Bonus for us...Gimme a Pokey/Schoen/Demski/Big Kev quartet...and I would gues Dillon Mitchel and one of White/Stern as a backup...we can roll with that

well we played a couple in a Grey Cup recently....but that more a roster issue about evryone is a starter was B.S.....but hammies even a slight tear....stay off field as u could jepordize the whole yr...has to heal cue up the excuse train....chug chug choo choo!! yeah guys may try...but man u risking your season....hammy inury not one to fool with

YEAH there is that too....as I was alluding to I bet teams...even player would be leary...also....NFL teams would want a say on the field it's played on...inspect/approve of playing surface...etc....If I was a big money player I wouldn't risk it...maybe some fringers might....but even they would be risking a lot Guys train hard and never take breaks now either...hence why you see so many non-contact injuries now...Ligaments and tendons unlike a muscle need time to heal/recoup...they dont grow in size/strength like a muscle does with constant use...much the oppositr...they are what they are and dont change until you obliterate one...or have a surgically repaired one...either by graft from your own body, or a synthetic...They used to do cadaver hosts to fix them at one point, but then was discovered if the host had a genetic issue or history in family of cancer...or other disease it could manifest at some point in the athlete that got the donor ligament/tendon...go figure eh> Thats why u see a ton of NBA injuries too know....no rest ever...fast paced moving...
