I meant for usefulness and ability on the roster...I have a lot of high expectations for Clercius...will be a gooder and the more reps the better he will be....but considering we do not need a Canadian DT for ratio....already had 3 signed.....and what Woli and that position brings to offence....makes zero sense...who is behind Clercius for depth?? Either a raw rookie....a free agent signing costing the same...or more....but who is behind Thomas...3 guys younger,...better....2 are cheaper...and all 3 have experience tho Samson's is minimal but still...knows the system yeah...seems like no real rhyme or reason...Unless we get blown away with drunken sailor spending in free agency...which I highly doubt who knows....but we could have left him to dangle in the wind in FA agency and signed him after if we felt the need...and prob for less.....as I sure the door wouldn't have been beaten doen to scoop him up ...wasnt last time we decided to not sign him...then did after thefact anyway

I don't believe Lawson was an acl..and even so...young guys now come back from that no worse for wear...and a lot of times in better condition...he's had the whole season...and now off-season to rehab and train..i sure he will be his dominant self And TC is for evaluating and assessing and picking your best players...if 3 other guys show better...and also are younger.. cheaper and have potential, in what sane world would u cut or PR one for a aged...declining player...answer me that

pretty easy to stay injury free when you arent involved in much of the action...and cant run to pul any muscles and are just kind of....i dunno how to even phrase it....just "out there" we have 3 other canadian DT'S...all younger....all with upside....we dont need a 4rh who really offers nothing other than this excessive depth

I pretty sure Biggie knew the gig was up at end of season...and it can be tough for a player to accept that playing days are done...some know...even during their last yr...some just have to much fire in them to quit...I'll give Biggie that, and he may get a bottom barrel deal somewhere but not to be "the guy" That being said...I would have taken him over Jake as a ST guy and emergency backup/role guy and player coach role...as he would offer value there...Jake offers none whatsoever

Agreed...which harkens back to my belief that our coaching...or lack there of at times has hurt us..and needs to be adressed...it's not as great as many like to believe it is when you have a hard headed stubborn guy overseeing it all who thinks he's always right Not sure he can evolve to be efficient with a new scheme...short outlets..dumps...screens ....he has probably the worst touch to do that of any starter in the league...so not sure he'd be a good fit in that kind of offence..

I think we need to accept the fact...he could.....and now when he tries a lot of times results in a pick....he's definitely trending the wrong way and I'm somewhat concerned how he plays this yr, and the fact that if he is hurting the team, or just not "Zack" anymore you-know-who will ignore it...deny it...make excuses for it...and in the end just ride him into another disappointment when it matters and not allow anyone to develop behind him...let alone get real reps so that if we need them to play....they have a good grasp of things and we actually know what they can do...and what they cant you know as an opposition coach that they are totally scheming and game planning for ZC to force it to his "go to guys" as it's obvious he will ignore others...especially newer guys....basically luring him right into it....why wouldn't they as they know his tendancies It's also baffling our coaches don't see it.....or if they do...do something about it....tell ZC to take their bait....influence them to where they know it usually goes with a look or a pump, then hit the wide open guy....its simple coaching but we avoid the simple and obvious for the old and worn out it worked before mindset....so lets just keep hammering away at that to no avail....our coaching too many times has been our demise...and there been no accountability for it by upper management....or anyone accepting and admitting faut and that "yeah....maybe we could have went about it differently"....I have never heard an instance where we have admitted we fackked things up

you can also use different protection packages with 5 guys and maybe a reciever...slide protections....moving the launch points...sprint outs...etc.....the insistance we need to over load with the extra oline guys is not necessarily a good thing...it also removes 2 potential targets for the QB to use and just begs for him to throw into multiple coverage...and look at ZC's picksthe last 2 yrs since we have relied on this game in and game out...they have gone up....we consistently shoot ourselves in the foot with insistence to not adjust or change our mind sets....and just keep thinking i twill work because it did before...thats a bad coaching mindset which can be said for the last 3 yrs in other areas too....and a bit of it is slipping into yr 4 now as well actually colon 😁

he never really got a chance to win it tho....Kolo was basically annointed starter....much like Biggie..Jake...BA...and a few others with no competition at all...and that was that.... Eli when on the field is a menace...moves guys...irritates defenders and just oozes starter.....the limited reps at guard people use as their barometer that he isnt good enough is kind of irrelevant, and once he got a few more reps settled right in....also...he had to play right smack dan beside an inferior center (Kolo) who if isnt locked into or engaged in a nose directly in front of him just misses his blocks or responsibilities over and over....and any stunts or dline guys flashing past him....yukkk.... Plus he is undersized.....and not uber athletic for what you want in an undersized center.....If Osh wants to put a teacher's pet of hbis there slap Schmeck in their and convert him...He's do a way better job once he got acclimated...and it prob would happen fast....

our oline was not nearly as bad as some made it out to be once all the starters were healthy....and to the denial of many here...a lot of the issues stemmed from center.....and will again if we roster the same one as our starter.....and knowing what we know about osh...Kolo will start...Jake will take premium reps...and we will play extra needless canadians in some sets...on defence that make us weaker,,,just because

thing is...the way Osh coaches his fav's...they can be significantly inferior and will still be handed the spot with no real competition....we've seen it every yr If one his guys don't get hurt and can literally not stand up...they get the reps....even last yr...rushing Wilson back and then he gets a new injury so severe he couldnt play....in a walk thru basically...he just wasnt ready and I have heard that from guys inside the room....and to make matters worse in his wise roster creating he never brought a guy "just in case" and we ended up playing a player short....totally inexcusable and not an issue a 10 yr coach who gets incessantly praised about he does nothing wrong and ya but's galore should make... WE all know right now Jake can...and will look like the worst of the lot for DT's this camp...but who will be lined up for first snap on defence...and taking up a roster spot of a younger...better Canadian with upside? he was here for over a onth...a CFL vet....I sure he knew the basic route tree in the CFL and where the holes in a zone were.....he could have played with 1 week here really.....the fact he could just play anywhere...and run posts...fades ,..out and up roayres or deep crossers somebody would hae had to cover him or else we would have been gouging them for gaping amounts of yards....he wasn't some raw rookie And that playbook isnt that complicated, and if it was...it obviously caused issues all yr as for most part ZC passing game was crap......or....is it ZC being the issue...again...excuses are for......... and the the 2022 yr...ZC couldnt move...run...or properly plant to throw effectively....yet he took every bloody rep....we dont learn...well somebody on the staff doesnt...1 yr...i will gave a guy a pass....2 yrs...hmmm...maybe it was a flukey anomoly...3 yrs....hell no.....and from looks of some early signings...lack of rounding out a coaching staff....i see yr 4 of.....who knows but a lot of the same maybe if we had a full healthy roster on offence....it wouldnt have even been close by that point...maybe 5 game ready recievers would have made 5..6..7 extra first downs.....opened stuff up for the run game?....u fail to look at the whole picture......hamstringing the offence...and playing a useless Bighill wrere major factors in the game when u add up all the cumulative plays...also dumping a proven vet and playoff performer db who had seen that pattern we got beat on probably 1000's times for a gut with flashy INT stats.....but penchant for getting beat bad gane in and game out didnt help either or dress one...BOLO....and not give him a single rep....while 3 guys limped around....and nary got a look by a defender because they could let them catch a short underneath pass and then just close on them for minimal to no gain....
