I think we are stronger at DL...QB....Reciever....jury out on the Oline until I see 2 games with whom they choose to roll with... If we win the Cup this yr...I will go on record saying it was because we had a depp defensive front with a minimum of 7 guys...all worthy to be on roster due to talent...not nationality or tenure, and we will not dress any player ....in a key spot thats less than 80% as by that time only about 15% off guys will be 100%, and nobody is dressed who doesnt need to bring a helmet...because they didnt touch the field We do that...we win...and sadly if we adhered to that....it would be our 5th win in a row...regardless if a bounce had went this way or that way in the last 2...those bounces would have been irrelevant So taking 4 cups out of 6 after next yr will suit me just fine all warts considered

To each his own...some guys feel the opposite...I used to play min 4 pre-season games....loved every second of them to be able to get out thre and smack guys around...and get smacked...and majority of the guys I know would say similar...its all on how you like to get in your gam mind set From my experience tho more guys came up lame, or had lingering ailments nagging them in first parts of the seson from inactivity...not too much activity...

a few series to get in sync would have zero effect on a body on a short turn around like that....and it's also asking for an injury....strain...sprain being from messing up a assignment....being out of sync or just being tossed into real action with zero reps... Barring a freak catastrophic injury in your minimal reps there was no downside to playing them even for a few reps....and minimal upside holding them out...
