Time For The CFL To Levy Fines On The Refs For Tacky Calls
Honestly, the biggest WTF this game was "we can't review due to technical difficulties with the command centre". WTF was that about. THAT IS BUSH LEAGUE STUFF. The Command Centre uses the same TSN feed for reviews. So without the TSN feed to review. They couldn't review it. It's quite simple actually.

Game Day Thread: TiCats @ Bombers -- Saturday, Sept 27th
well it's been almost a month since I've been able to watch a WBB game. The last game I watched was the LDC and then missed the Banjo Bowl, the BC game and with the bye week. It feel like it's been a whole off season since I watched a game. Hoping for a win and a good outing from the offence today. HERE WE GO BOMBERS HERE WE GO! HERE WE GO BOMBERS HERE WE GO!

Willy taking first team practice reps
I'm sure the team will have Willy's best interests in mind. But I just hope we don't mortgage his future health for 1 game. Look at Lulay, one hit in the wrong place and all that good work to repair his shoulder was all for not. I'm not comparing his injury to Lulay's but the scenario is similar. Don't forget, were last in the league in sacks allowed.

QB Status - Willy to Start Saturday
No Moore? At this rate we might as well put him on the 6 game and save some salary cap. Nick Moore is the new Buck Pierce.

Odds and Sods - Blue Bombers at B.C Lions
I'm not so sure about that. 3 points in the 1st half with Willy at the helm for most of it. Last night I saw a defence that just ran out of gas but played pretty well until the 4th but again the offence didn't help them out.

Jason Vega torn MCL?
I don't know for sure but maybe Hall was one of those players that quit on the team last year or was a problem in the room? Again, I have nothing to base it on but it might explain why the team isn't interested in signing him.

Future fans of the CFL?
I became a fan because my dad was. From the time I can remember we had season tickets. My dad was a small business owner so he worked 6 days a week if not 7. Going to the football games was the one time I got some time with my dad. When I was older I started to buy tickets with my friends and went with them instead of my dad. I still regret that decision as he gave up the season tickets because my mom and my brother and sister weren't interested in going. When I was 22 I bought a set of two season tickets and took my dad to every game for the next few years until I moved to Calgary. My dad was a huge football fan and used to go to |Grey Cups with my mom. The year I was born (1962) he went to the Grey Cup a week after I was born leaving my mom at home. BIG fan? Or just a husband that wanted to get away from a new baby?

O'Shea hands away the LDC
I don't understand how you can say a receiver gave up on a ball. That would imply that the ball was catchable and the effort wasn't there. I would disagree. Those three long ball throws were ever so close to being game changers, so I don't mind the aggressive play calls. We were playing to win. Coaches get criticized all the time for doing this and not doing that, so I can understand disagreeing with the play calls, but as I said, saying the effort wasn't there, is just wrong. I agree that the receiver didn't give up on the ball...but this is the 2nd time in 2 games where we were 2nd and 3 at important times in the games, and a long pass which does not have a high probability of being completed was called. At this juncture of this game...it should have been all about ball control and first downs and it wasn't! Would you have rather than handed off to Grigsby and got stuffed after a 1 yard gain? There's nothing wrong with taking a shot downfield. Bottom line whatever play you call you have to execute it. you're right because MB continues to run Grigsby between the guard and tackle. yes, that is not working. We have to try and get him the ball and let him use his speed to the outside but of course he needs some blocking too. Or way not try Pontbriand and see if he can fight thru the first tackle. We saw yesterday that he can be the hammer.

Willy is one tough son of a mother ...
Not scary at all but I left the security of mom's basement a long time ago and now live in a million dollar house in Calgary. I'll pm you the address if you want and you can come check it out. You're still an (&&&^) and if they want to ban me. It'll be worth it.

I tell you what. We'll have a 270 lb football player fall on top of you and bend your ankle in a way it's not supposed to bend. And lets see how you react. Idiot

O'Shea hands away the LDC
I can't remember when during the game when this happened but it was 2nd 3 and Willy attempted a 30 yarder that once again our receiver gave up on. The camera then panned to Osh and he looked like he didn't like the play call. He seemed pissed off. At the time we were trailing and the offence was struggling to get first downs. To me we had success at the beginning of the game with the short passing game but then went away from it. Bellefeuile seems to script out the entire game but isn't willing to deviate from it based on either the score or what the defence is showing.

Its Labour Day...
well when your last in the league against the run. What do you expect.

O'Shea hands away the LDC
what a ridiculous thread

Its Labour Day...
we lost this game the same way we lost the first game against the Riders. We couldn't stop the run in the 4th quarter.

Pre mature fist pump. Does that make you go blind?

Redblacks at Als - The Crap Bowl
It's too bad the red blacks don't have a backup QB like Kevin Glenn.

Jim Bell out as Bombers COO
In a company the size of the WBB's. The position of COO is redundant especially when you have an active President/CEO in Miller.

Argos Release Johnson, Sinkfield and Dwight Anderson
Sinkfield was intriguing but he also had penalty problems. It could just be a American having a difficult time with the waggle. Is Anderson finally done? Or will Ottawa pick him up?
