When I was a kid living in Winnipeg my buddies and I would go to the games on Friday night and then drive out to Winnipeg Beach and stay at the cottage for the weekend. That was before I'm embarrassed to say when drinking and driving was as public an issue as it is today. Quite frankly I wonder how I survived my late teens and twenties. Kids are much smarter today and I have all the respect in the world when they drink but take a cab, walk or appoint a "DD". Anyway that was quite a diversion from the topic at hand.

This reminds me of Allen Pitts all over again. Wally is not afraid to say good bye to long time vets but what bothers me is why wait till training camps starts? Why not release him during the off season. It's a cruel world in football and players have to accept their fate.

I honestly cant remember a training camp where we didn't have this number of injured players. I'm not concerned at all and I'm sure we'll be able to field a competitive team come game 1.

My concern is that TSN is pushing the CFL to move a majority of their games to weeknights when there's less going on and we'll end up with 1 game on the weekend.

I'm not sure this supposed move is about an abundance of depth. To me it reeks of a cap move. With Picard and Bryant pulling down some huge cash. It seems to me Walters is looking at his O-line as a cap liability and he's now looking to free up some cash and Greaves is probably the easiest one to loose.

The way I see it. The CFL draft is a crap shoot at best. Sure this years draft was deep but I'll be ecstatic if the only thing that comes out of the 2015 draft is that we found ourselves a dominant olineman for the next 10 - 12 years. That alone would make this draft a huge success. if any of the other picks develop and play a role in the years to come is gravy.

Kyle Walters is quoted in the article so I don't think it was leaked. I highly doubt the contract value the Willy team is looking for came from Walters. It sounds like the reporter is following up with Walters on the leaked information that Willy is looking for a contract that will pay him $400M a year.

I wonder who leaked the story? I highly doubt this type of thing is going to get the fans behind the Willy camp.

I'm sick and tired of the Twitter feed inundating us with Rider fans showing off their god awful green wardrobe while on vacation. Do you ******* own any other clothes? A couple of years ago while vacationing in Punta Cana my wife and I were walking along the beach and came across a group of Neanderthals all decked out in Rider green. They had Rider blankets, shirts, jerseys, gnomes and flags. I so wanted to walk up to them and yell out RIDERS SUCK but they were pissed to the gills and I was out manned 12 to 1. Not an even battle. So Rider fans, leave your green at home and let the rest of us enjoy our vacation. And please can we somehow block those tweets of Rider fans wearing green on vacation. WE DON'T GIVE a $HIT. Do us all a favour and head down to Walmart and pick up one of those Carona wife beaters or one of those John Deere shirts.
