I emailed the Bombers requesting a "West Kildonan" flag. They emailed back within an half an hour saying that they'll add it to the growing list of requests. Haven't seen it added yet but still hoping.

You have it wrong. I’m not advocating getting rid of Lapo or Nichols. That’s why I said I didn’t vote. But the poster asked about potential candidates for OC. Thats why I responded. Not because I want Lapo fired mid season.

Dave Dickenson: 1 year as a running backs coach, 1 year as a receivers coach and then year 3 he was promoted to OC. Jason Maas: pretty good OC/crappy head coach. 3 years as a QB coach and then year 4 he was the OC in Ottawa. Buck pierce: 2 years as a running back coach, currently in year 4 as a QB coach.

Huff was on the radio in Calgary and he didn’t mention names but he was definitely referring to both Michel and Singleton.

Marken Michel is only going back to the stamps if he returns. This is one of the reasons Huff wouldn’t take Bo Levi off the 6 game early. He wanted the salary cap space just in case. The only way he doesn’t return is if Singleton is cut first. But Huff thinks he can still sign both if they’re both released and don’t sign on with another team.

I didn’t vote but you asked so I thought I’d throw out a couple of names. Ive been a strong proponent of moving buck pierce up the food chain. He always was a cerebral QB who spent hours watching game film. I’ve always thought former QB’s make the best OC’s. The other is Ryan dinwiddie in Calgary. He has the title of OC but dickenson still calls the plays. If he wants to move up he’s going to have to prove he can be a true OC. Dickenson speaks very highly of him and often speaks with him during the game to discuss up coming plays and strategy. Those are two that come to mind.

I understand that completely but I was just responding to the OP who was inferring that the bombers management made a mistake in letting Davis go. I just wanted to point out that we weren’t the only team to give up on him.

So did the QB factory we call the Calgary stampeders. Obviously Huff and Dickenson didn’t see enough to keep him around.

Believe what you want about Nichols but I’ll take wins over individual stats all day long.
