We need to start drafting and developing young Canadian receivers like Hamilton has done with Bolo...

I think it would pay future dividends to stick with the current crop of receivers in house, use the first half of the season to identify the best and get him up to speed by the time Lawler returns.
Heard he did somewhere, not convinced he'd ever been in the same league as a returner like Worthy, the really good ones don't grow on trees.

On the bright side there was a safety off a missed field goal. Gotta say, never seen that before.

Yep. Last night sucked. Worried? Not particularly. 
As last night was drawing to a close I kept thinking of last season's home game in July against BC. Took it on the chin pretty good that night, didn't we?
We have a veteran team, the best coaching staff in the league. They turned it around after that game, and they'll turn it around after this one.
Looking forward to next week against Ottawa. Get the boys on the road, away from the noise and get the freight train back on track.

Unfortunately, the Bombers played their last pre-season game in a game that actually mattered.
 
What is Buck trying to do out there? I am confused with this offense and have been for a couple of years. Why can't we take advantage of having such elite playmakers out there? 

I fear this regression is what we're going to be stuck with -- that we caught lightning in a bottle for a few seasons but that wore off. He's no threat with his legs, doesn't have a quick release, and now his accuracy is shot. Something needs to improve or we're hooped. 
Yeah me too. I think Brown is / is going to be the real deal. 

Seriously worried that we kept the wrong QB. I'm debating whether this is the worst game I've seen in this stadium. It's this or vs Argos Frito Ray 2014 for worst game I've personally seen at Fort Hew.

Zach showed signs of this many times last year. And Buck showed signs of not doing him any favours.

Julien-Grant, Snead (Dressler clone), Philpot, Spieker, some guy named Rambo....seems like a pretty good group of receivers.

Quarterback questions for 2024:
BLM returns to Calgary: is he washed up or is he finally injury free? Has he had to change his throwing motion? Can he still scramble? Does he have all the CFL savvy he used to have or is his confidence shaken?
 Do the Stampeders have a competent quarterback this year?
Will Cam Dukes in Toronto become the real thing? Will Kelly ever played another game in the CFL?
Was Bethel Thompson now in Edmonton ever the real thing?
Can Vernon Adams carry the Lions?
How many more new quarterbacks will be brought in this year by the Saskatchewan Roughriders?
Can Brown in Ottawa adapt to a whole new culture and completely different blocking schemes? Or do we see yet another quarterback controversy?
Does y Michael Fajardo still have a hot hand to go with his offence?
How many downs per game can we expect out of Chris Sreveler this year here in Winnipeg?
