on the other long etch thread the other day, someone did an actual breakdown of a few close games, where it was made obvious that the defence more than did it's job, and offence failed miserably. you know, some actual facts and numbers. got the ball back repeatedly, and offence went three and out, or int, in several close games. guess a few people missed that. or ignored it causes it didn't conform with their beliefs. so they Just keep saying it "etch must go, Etch must go" furthermore, everyone knows that defences get tired if they stay on the field. Our defence was on the field a lot this year. cause the offence was pitiful. hence can't stop run in fourth quarter, for example. Prediction: etch will be back.

I agree, lots of good things off the field, but so many bad games, penalty fests, crappy quarterbacks, (Montreal????) receivers that can't catch, it really has been a bad year, as far as the games themselves is concerned.

sask has been crapola since durant got hurt. Even their mighty Defence looked ordinary. which was nice to see. They have no chance.

People did have their minds made up about Etch, before the season started. Since I knew nothing about Etch, I watched the games without that problem. And It was obvious that the offence was putrid for the last two thirds of the season, and the main reason why we couldn't win any games. It was actually surprising, given the horrible play of the offence, that the defence at no time during the year quit, or gave up. credit to Etch there. How much of that putrid offence gets attributed to inadequate players, injuries, bad decisions like not playing Cotton, and coaching, I have no idea. But if anything needs immediate changes, it's the offence.

unfortunate for edmonton fans, that Reilly can't play… not much chance without him. Reilly overdoes the scrambling, won't have too many more years in his career if he keeps doing it. And, there's no reason for it…. he's a good passer.

Montreal defence are looking for head shots. I've seen it three times now. the last touchdown for instance. straight for the receivers head.
