I'm glad I'm not the only one who read the thread thinking this. The most popular guy is always the one we don't know.

I've been surprised to see how far people will walk to the games. I live just over the river from the stadium, (~35 minute walk) and there are dozen of cars parked in my neighbourhood on game days, including the last one. I figure it's good for Winnipeggers to have to leave their cars behind for a change. Driving and parking at the old Polo location used to take me almost an hour each way, so now I'm on the plus end. The last few games will be interesting, as I can imagine the number of cyclists will be dropping off rapidly, and the 30+ minute walks become less appealing.

I see I'm not the only one that has reached total apathy. Can't be bothered this year... following NFL more closely because of a couple fantasy pools and now NHL is back. I didn't even know that they played in Montreal on Monday until I actually went to the CFL site. It won't take much to get me back... I love my Bombers, but it feels like the team has given up on the year, and so have I. Bomber fans want something to cheer about... we'll be back in droves when the time comes.

Agreed. O Line needs a fix before we can give any young QB a fair chance at any amount of success. Goltz had guys all over him a second or two after the snap.

I was at the airport Monday night and saw this huge dude come out of the international arrival gate carrying Virginia bags. Right as I thought "he looks like a football player" a guy in a bomber shirt greeted him and lead him out of the terminal. Glad to see it turned out to be a defender. I've been curious as to who he was.

Still shocked he didn't announce his retirement the day Trestman was pulled south. Could have gone out on top... now that team is a wreck, over-shadowed only by how bad the east is this year.

I have high hopes that he can accept the new role and make a contribution to the team. Think he has some valuable football knowledge and I'm hoping that translates to some offensive success... ...or he could mope. Either way, could it be much worse than what we've already seen?

Ugh. For some reason I went back and watched the call that wasn't. Worse than it looked live. Now I'm angry again. Winnable game with too many turnovers and a spotted 14 point lead. Can't expect to win those. On to the next. Spank them in Montreal, please. The stadium is spectacular.
