  1. He's not great. He's big and strong and usually pretty shore handed but he's dropped some of the passes great receivers make. Good reciever, but not a great one.
  2. Man I really want to see someone seize an opportunity at reciever. I think in the past two years we've given guys an opportunity to become a starter and compliment Dressler and Adams but no ones stepped up to the plate. One more consistent weapon on offense would go a long way.
  3. I want to give some love to Weston Dressler. Night and day our most productive and consistent reciever. 309 yards in just three games, almost 17 yards per reception and already has as many touchdowns as he did all of last season. Looks really good so far. Thanks Saskachewan
  4. Talk about a guy who's paid his dues. Made some clutch plays in 2014. Barely sees the field in the next two years, keeps working hard, plays ST's, and all he does is make plays when called upon. I'm glad he's getting a bigger role in the offense.
  5. One thing I noticed is when we blitzed ,Ray tried to stretch the field on one vs one coverage and guys like Randle,Heath, and Leggett played it perfectly. It's key to a defensive game plan knowing if you gamble and bring the house that the DB's playing man coverage can hold their own and break up plays.

Nichols is 12-4 as a starter since last season lets give him a little respect. EVERY QB struggles but you show faith in your QB by letting him work through adversity. Ricky Ray threw 2 interceptions and 0 touchdowns but I'm guessing Trestman would look mighty foolish if he benched him.
  7. Good teams win ugly. Good effort in the second half.
  8. Worked a ten hour day.. Cold beer in the fridge, Bombers on the tube tonight. Today is a good day!!
  9. I'm thinking the offense is going to have to come to play because I'm not loving our defense this week, especially against Ricky Ray.
  10. You would have to think unless the ti cats get red hot this is Kent Austins last season in Hamilton.
  11. Ottawa hasn't won a game. 0-2-1
  12. It's three weeks into the season. Every team has had their share of ups and downs.
  13. SJ Green is going to lead the CFL in receiving if he stays healthy this year.
  14. Remember when we were 1-4 to start the season and we ended up 11-7 last season? Trust the process. There's a lot of room to improve but it's a long season and were not that far away.
  15. There's never a bad day for some pints
  16. I just realized. No Charleston Hughes tonight for Calgary. This is good news for Matt Nichols.
  17. Very excited. I have the day off from work. I just finished BBQ'ing some steak, about to crack open a beer, perfect day for some football!
  18. That game was IN Calgary. We don't win their too much either.
  19. Haha! We watched the game on TV on Canada day. She wasn't so bad. Hoping she'll keep me in line so that I'm not spending so much time at the Rum Hut!
  20. Confirmed. Mike Kelly is the greatest head coach we've ever had. EDIT: that was actually his first career win 42-30!
  21. Taking my girl friend to her first Bomber game tomorrow night! Should be a good one.
  22. 12.5 is reasonable. McDavid is the best player in the league. Crosby at 8.7 million has to be the best value contract in the NHL allows Pittsburgh to build a team around them. With McDavid and Drai due for a big pay day it unfortunately handcuffs the Oilers a little bit.
  23. Not sure but I like it! Keep em coming Jonsie
  24. We have had some terrible leadership here in the last 20 years. Burke, Daley, and Reinbold were all terrible. Kelly, and Berry were mediocre. Richie was good, and the jury is still out on O'Sheas legacy although I feel good about him as our head coach.
  25. Toronto is a very diverse city. A lot of second generation immigrants so they have no root to the CFL. I do agree Toronto is a huge bandwagon city though, because how big around the world MLB and NBA is it's easy for them to get big crowds, but they don't truly care about the product.
