  1. You never know. Hamilton at home in a best of one. Anyone can win. Wouldn't count on Edmonton winning twice on the road in the playoffs.
  2. The east is a joke. No surprise Hamilton is going all in. Secure that first place in the East and get the bye heading into the Eastern finals. Even with how much Hamilton is under achieving they have a good opportunity to advance to the Grey Cup.
  3. MDMA lol Enjoying the Winnipeg night life a little too much.
  4. Patience is a virtue. Not looking so good for the Argonauts.
  5. Excellent signing. Now if Adams ever gets healthy.. Watch out! Would love to see a core of Adams, Gurley, Denmark, Dressler and Kohlert/FDG Now that would be scary!
  6. Unrelated to the matter, But its looking like another year of Chris Thorburn, Mark Stuart, and Ondrej Pavelec. It's disappointing because there was a lot of competition of younger talented players who could play the bottom six role. It's disappointing that our best goaltender will probably start the season in the AHL, and it's disappointing because of Jacob Trouba holding out we'll probably see Mark Stuart eating up minutes as a third pairing guy/PK player.
  7. You mean how the defense has been inconsistent for 3 weeks? Matt Nichols is doing his part. 65% passing over the past three games with 5 TD's and only 2 INT. The offense has averaged 35.3 points over the last three games which should be enough to win ANY football game if the defense is doing their part. Instead we've had Dan Lefevour torch us, and Mitchell and Reilly have their way with our secondary. But sure lets take shots at our QB.
  8. Good move for the Saskatchewan Rough Riders. This makes them a better team. Adding a game breaking NI insures they can go with four imports at the reciever position.
  9. Every team is making moves. Would be extremely disappointed if we didn't bring in one of Gurley,Elliot, or Hazelton. At 8-6 this is the home stretch. While every team is getting better we can't stand pat.

Willy helping Winnipeg secure the number one overall draft pick.
  11. I think it also takes a lot of pressure off the offense knowing that anything within 50 yards are essentially an automatic 3 points. Not as many throws into double coverage trying to generate points.
  12. Medlock has been fantastic. I don't think some people realize how important the kicking game truly is. He's been money on field goals, and his directional punting is impressive. I knew from the moment he was signed he was worth every penny.
  13. No doubt. i don't think anyone wants to play Winnipeg, but gotta give credit to Calgary. They're a damn good football team.
  14. Calgary is in a league of their own this season. Clear cut grey cup favourites. But the road will be through Calgary to make it to the grey cup so might as well show that they can beat them this week.
  15. I honestly believe there's no such thing as too much depth. Injuries are a big part of football. You can never account for what may happen. Having depth in our secondary is absolutely crucial down the stretch.
  16. We CANT possibly win seven in a row can we I'll be there tomorrow for the first time all season. Work has been hectic, but hopefully i'll get to see the Bomber Defense beat the snot out of Dan Lefevour.
  17. Kevin Glenn is STILL in this league because he has the quickest release in the CFL. He avoids a lot of contact.
  18. I'm not sure its confidence. I think its psychological. Hearing foot steps when they aren't there. There was a lot of plays earlier this season where willy 1) Rushed the throw before the pressure 2) didn't properly plant his feet on the deep throw due to "pressure" (remember how effective he was in 2014 on the deep throw) 3) Not properly stepping into the pocket on passing attempts to buy more time
  19. We'll see. I certainly like Drew Willy. I hope he has a successful career. His biggest problem in Winnipeg was mentally. He was hearing foot steps when they weren't there. He didn't have this problem in 2014, you saw it when he came back from injury in 2015. I'm wondering if this something you can ever come back from. Pocket awareness is a big part of the QB play, hopefully Toronto can protect Drew enough so that he can get over that but it was an alarming sight to see in Winnipeg this year.
  20. Wel lets not get carried away now Athough tough to be a functional team when there's no respect for your starting QB Whether its on the team or on him.

Harris is an impossible guy to replace. So much of the offense revolves around him. However i'm hoping our play calling is more aggressive against the Argonauts. Typically you use the run to open up the passing game, but i'm hoping we can use the pass to open up the run game and who ever is playing running back. Throw the ball down the field more so that those linebackers are backing off from the line.
  22. Duron Carters Wonderlic score was 39. The average score for a professional WR is 17. Sure he's had his issues in Montreal, but he's the big, physical receiver. It's not like a talented head case hasn't rejuvenated his career before (randy moss)
  23. Do we know he's a locker room cancer? Randle is great no doubt, but he's had injury issues, and i'm confident in our young secondary.
  24. One of the most talented players in the league. Love the way he plays on the field. I'm sure hes tired of the circus in Montreal.
  25. Carter for Randle straight up.
