Am I the only who's annoyed with Aaron Woods on punt returns? It seems that he's scared to catch the ball on a bounce. I remember on one return he ran backwards 5 yards instead of running up and grabbing it. He's actually very good at catching it in the air(something Jovon was terrible at) but he seems to be reluctant to grab it on a bounce.

Yeah what the hell was that? He just stood there and let the Ottawa guy jump on the ball. I agree, that was completely bizarre. I have no clue what was going through his mind. And then after watching the Ottawa guy jump on it he tries to signal that's it our ball.

Why is Denmark playing at wide out and Kelly out of the slot? Denmark has done much better out of the slot. I also don't like how we've made Kohlert a token wide side Canadian who doesn't get the ball.

The only accurate thing Tim Burke said last year is that Sherman has the potential to be a starter in this league.

I wasn't a fan of his in the pre season, and thought he was just good last week. But, he really impressed me tonight. Even his pass blocking is improved. I LOVE Paris Cotton but can we really justify putting Grigsby on the bench at this point? Also, where does this leave Will Ford(who I'm glad is now firmly #3)?

It really wouldn't be that crazy of a deal. Watson makes good money, misses half the season and is getting into his thirties. If he doesn't take a significant pay cut I think Watson gets cut after this year. Then it comes down to a mid round pick for Chip Cox and who wouldn't take that deal? He's one of the best defensive players in the entire league. There's no way Montreal would ever do it though.

I guess I'll be the one to agree with Nate here. Watson and a third rounder for Cox would be an absolute steal on our part.

Popp looks disinterested, Higgins isn't a good coach and Smith has is incapable of completing a pass. Things aren't getting any better in Montreal anytime soon.

Riders don't have a running back yet. Playing in a game with conditions like this might favor the Ticats.

BC has a subpar O-line, no receivers and a QB who folds like a cheap tent without an outstanding supporting cast. I might be jumping the gun here, but if Lulay doesn't get healthy fast I'm not finding very much to like about that team.

Willy and Burris were not available at the same time... If they are perhaps Burris is not offered 375K We traded for Willy and he never became a free agent. He was available the entire time. It really doesn't matter to me who they preferred because I'm happy with Willy, but if Willy is our number one target we most likely trade for him at the start of the off season.

Neither of these teams have looked very good at all. Troy Smith has been especially bad, but you'd think a team as good as Calgary would step on the throat of a team as bad as Montreal.

Agreed. I like Carter, but I'd rather Etienne start if something were to happen to Kohlert or JFG.

Let's not kid ourselves here, Burris doesn't get offered 375K if Willy is our first option. With that being said, I'm ecstatic that we got Willy who I now feel is the best QB that moved teams this off season.

If we had signed Burris, I wonder if Willy would of signed in BC to back up Lulay(or well start I guess).

I would rather them admit it was a bad move and cut Banks now rather than keep him around so they don't look bad.
