Lions Release Paris Jackson
If you agree or not NIPs are in limited supply and will become more difficult to come by. Better to load up now and then sort through them as you decide who is a keeper. Imports are a phone call and bus ticket away.

REDBLACKS sign Justin Palardy
Still a young guy especially for a kicker. Needs to work on his leg strength for kick offs. Bad mistake by the Bombers letting him go.
-
The mastery of Marcel Desjardins continues...
Like it or not...or like the redblacks or not the CFL cannot afford another franchise failure in Ottawa. Look in the mirror Winnipeg fans. It's not as if the Bombers have become a showcase model for success in the CFL.

Bombers trade for QB Brian Brohm; cut Justin Goltz
The concern remains based on the depth and experience level at the QB spot on the BB there has to be a concern moving into the season.
-
New CBA
Let's be realistic here. How many teams in the CFL are making money? Sure there is a great new TV deal but take Winnipeg for example and the huge debt load they will have to service in the not too distant future. Before they open the vault to the players let's see some stabilization of the franchises.

Eskimos new coaching staff
Maybe Winnipeg better get a quality o line coach.

Bombers Release Two
Remember sports fans he like you is a human being.

Free Agency - 2014...
This organization needs to prove to players that it is turning the corner. Players don't want just come and play in the new stadium. That might work for U of M recruiting but not in the CFL.

Eskimos release Alexander (Now Signed with the Bombers)
Maybe they'll cut Cauchy before he can come to camp and get hurt.
-
Some food for thought from Farhan Lalji
Kelly was not the GM

Lions Release Paris Jackson
Leadership is from players by example not by words. Like last year he is a guy on the street you bring in when someone gets hurt. You don't bring guys like that to camp and risk him getting hurt....then you own him.

Robert McCune Bomber bound?
My guess is who is going to ante up the biggest signing bonus Wpg or Mtl?
-
Lions Release Paris Jackson

Lions Release Paris Jackson
Sorry but he is done.

Etcheverry announced as Defensive Coordinator (finally)
How did teams ever win a game when coaching staffs had 6 on them? The notion that there is a correlation between quality and quantity eludes me.
-
Edwards Announces Retirement
I would think perhaps he saw the writing on the wall when Moore signed. I'm betting it was retire or get cut....he opted to retire.
-
Eskimos release Alexander (Now Signed with the Bombers)
Bring in a vet to try out...he gets hurt u own him.

Free Agency - 2014...
Alexander was fast that was his claim to fame. He was a corner in college and has never been very fond of hitting anyone. Unfortunately he became a starter by default in Edmonton. Thanks but no thanks

Etcheverry announced as Defensive Coordinator (finally)
I was wrong.....so was Rick Campbell, Rich Stubler and the other FA players that declined to join in the celebratory parade of champions. As to my qualifications to evaluate ? If I told you I would have to......

Etcheverry announced as Defensive Coordinator (finally)
I guess not.

Etcheverry announced as Defensive Coordinator (finally)
A couple of glorified GAs isn't necessarily "experience"
-
Etcheverry announced as Defensive Coordinator (finally)
I repeat set your standards higher. Is better than recently a good indication of having constructed a good staff? Again this is staff is a reflection of a dismantled organizations inability to attract both FAs and coaches.
-
Etcheverry announced as Defensive Coordinator (finally)
I guess you simply equate years on the job with quality. A group of ping balls, nomads and castoffs. Set your standards for measuring a resume a little higher.

Free Agency - 2014...
I guess in Winnipeg it isn't about winning

A couple seasons to digest: Our new unis
They switched to the gold away jerseys for marketing reasons. Nobody wanted to buy the white road jerseys.
