The problem was the old format was 4 pre season games and 14 regular season games. People didn't want to buy into purchasing 2 pre season games and the teams couldn't sacrifice the lost revenue of a shorter season hence the 18 game sked.

Face the fact that a head coach with extremely limited coaching experience was hired. Limited in terms of both longevity and the fact that his prior coaching was as a ST coach. Compare that to the resumes of the other head coaches in the CFL. Not even close.

How long did Reinbold get here? And what exactly makes this current regime so much more significantly different then that one. People bought and drank the kool-aid then and are having it served up again in a different flavour.

Job insecurity? People keep trying to repeat that again and again. In pro sports you earn job security. It is a performance based product. If you continually have a poor record how and why do you expect to keep your job?

Does Rogers have to compensate the Argos for lost revenue of not having the home game?

Perhaps an unfortunate repeat of Cal's last game will be the final straw in whatever decisions are made at the end of the season. It is truly sad when it comes down to that. A tough pill to swallow.

Not sure there is a solution but in a pro league where it is possible for one of 3 teams with a potential final winning potential of .333 making the playoffs it is a bit of an embarrassment. Talk about rewarding futility.

Taman was the GM but Kelly wanted to be the Man. Rather than deal with the BS of it all Taman said to hell with it and left.

So are you trying to now say that all teams now incorporate the same MLB scheme? Some teams are still playing "old school MLB" schemes. Perhaps some teams have better MLBs? Not sure what your point is here.

The sidelines are the worst possible place for an OC or DC to. Get a true picture of the game and the field.

Make the playoffs...great waste money on an extra game as the CFL allocation of expenses and playoff shares no where near covers the actual cost. And reinforce management's mantra that we are on tract with the Plan.
