Not sure why this qualifies as cherry picking? One might expect that the first overall pick is a LOCK to be a front line impact player. As for the other picks listed....well done but I’m sure they align with comparable picks across the league.

Perhaps this team should worry first about playing 60 minutes and start with a one game winning streak.

Second half scoring in the last 3 games....total 31 points.....isn’t going to win many games.

So Hall is completely responsible for who plays where? How many tackles has Hall actually missed? There is a difference between soft coverage and guys getting flat out beat or blown coverage like the Thigpen TD. Why is poor execution the fault of the DC or the OC for that matter?

A successful HC is only as good as his assistants.....historically look at the entire staff of Grey Cup winning teams.

Throwing for 166 yds passing with 31 on one play isn’t going to win you many games in this league. Great first half by Harris but as usual when you can’t pass and the other team adjusts and shuts down the run in the second half. This team has not shown it can adjust at the half.....blame whomever you like.....it is an established pattern.

The defence has to make plays stop drives and get the ball back.....the offence has to make plays, sustain drives and score points....when neither of those things happen you don’t win.....this has become the Hackensack and the egg.....both O and D are responsible.

If Hall’s situation is so heavily tied to MOS.....where does that leave MOS and his situation?

The thing that concerns me is as the season progresses it seems like opposition defences start to figure LaPo out.

Someone else’s fiction I gues......If you historically review past game play by play scripts the repeated pattern of 2 and outs due to insufficient yardage on second down plays is there in black and white. That is objective evidence.....” too many deep balls” is someone’s subjective opinion.

LaPo....2nd 7.....4 yd gain.. punt ...2nd 10 .......6 yd gain....punt.....check the play by play scripts on CFL......you might see a disturbing pattern here.

The offence was a treat and kept defences off balance when Flanders and Harris were on the field at the same time.

Seems to be a rerun of failing to make half time adjustments on both sides of the ball.

I’m not sure that the connotation of being cheap and “ penny pinching” is a fair description of having to try and reserect a franchise that was on the verge of extinction. Financial responsibility is the reality when there is no private ownership that is there to write a cheque at the end of the season.

Other teams seem to be able to scout and find top notch WRs , not sure recycling guys has been proven to be the answer.

Curious as to what was your basis for this statement? Clearly you have some facts to back this up.

The bad teams sadly are bad....I don’t want to go watch a rout....I want an exciting back and forth competitive game that goes down to the bitter end.

You put a guy in at QB after 4 days of practice on a bad team and you expect what? Seriously.....what a stupid decision from the get go. That circus does nothing positive to promote the CFL .......and then that goes to ESPN......another bone head move.

Players are paid to play....plain and simple....they have a boss just like any other employee...you can quit....or mouth off and get fired ......so be it.
