Vincent and woodcroft would be bad choices, i think. Very on brand choices for tnse. But not flashy enough. Chevy doesn't necessarily have to hit a home run with his head coach hire. But, in order to survive another down season, he does have to look like he tried to. I think he has to go outside his comfort zone here.

Agreed about the salary. How do you expect these guys to want to play half way around the world if they aren't even entitled to be paid any significant money? How long do we wait? Who knows? My guess at the end game of the global initiative is to feature players from markets like Germany and Mexico, drum up interest in the game and sell tv rights to networks. So, has it worked yet? I don't think so. Could it work? Yes. Will it work? Who knows?

Is it just bad luck, or injury concerns with Collins? He seems to preform when utilized, but teams seem to cut bait on him, pretty much yearly.

It wouldn't be hard to find guys with those measurables. Just go to any gym. I guarantee you'll find a guy who looks like a football player. Doesn't mean he is one. How many guys have we seen that look like Tarzan, play like Jane?
