  1. Go Montreal. To be clear, I'd cheer for the aliens from Space Jam and being enslaved rather than cheer for the Greenies.
  2. I'm not a ref but I can google search and read. By my count, there a 4 clear violations of the rule on that play. I'd be curious to hear from @Booch or @JuranBoldenRules or @wbbfan on my analysis.
  3. This is the rule. He clearly lands on him with most of his weight. (#1). He hits him in the head. (#2). He had to dive onto Zach on the ground which means he didn't make an attempt to avoid the hit. (#3). Zach is out of the play at the time of the hit. (#4). Article 5 — Roughing The Passer Because the act of passing puts the passer in a particularly vulnerable position to injury, special rules against roughing the passer apply. Once the ball is released, defensive players must avoid all unnecessary contact with the passer. A player shall be penalized for any act of Unnecessary Roughness to the passer, including but not limited to: Contacting the passer in an unnecessary manner, including stuffing him to the ground, violently throwing him to the ground, and landing on him with most of the defender's weight, Any blow above the passer's shoulder, All rushing defenders must attempt to avoid forcibly hitting a passer in the pocket, at or below the knees, either if their path to the passer was unrestricted, or if they are coming off a blocker, Attacking the passer who, after releasing the ball, is either standing still or fading backwards and is obviously out of the play and remains out of the play, When the quarterback slides feet first, all unnecessary contact must be avoided. The slide must be done in a timely manner to allow the defence to avoid such contact. Contacting the passer if either the initial source of contact, or primary source of contact, is the defender's helmet.
  4. He did? What did he say.
  5. 1. Brown 2. Oliviera 3. Bailey HH-Holm The F-U: To the officiating staff and the Command Centre.
  6. Brown was simply outstanding. On the hit on Collaros, I thought it was telling Milt and Matty thought there should have been a flag (former players) and Barker (not a former player) did not. Barker is an idiot.
  7. I can see @Noeller going from depression, to hope, to pure joy. Oh wait, that was me.
  8. Oh man, please let us pull this out.
  9. It was a clear RTP. Read the rule.
  10. In 2008, Reigning MVP Tom Brady coming off a record 50 TD pass season gets hit below the knees in quarter one of the first game of 2008 and is out for the season. What rule comes into effect the next season, can't hit a QB below the news. The two time reigning MOP takes a clear RTP and no call even upon review. Bush league. I love the CFL but we're a ******* bush league at times.
  11. This is a rant but **** the Command Center. Let's just cheapshot every QB out of every game. **** Ambroise and the league office.
  12. Clearly a catch. Refs out to get us?
  13. I'm in a nightmare.
  14. pass knockdown was one.
  15. I like him as well. No hate from me.
  16. Need to contain Ford as judging by his stats (58% completion percentage, more interceptions than td passes), passing is not his strong suit.
  17. While the FG% is the same, Sergio is making 88.4% of his converts and Legs is at 66.7%, an area where he has struggled before. Sergio has 7 attempts from 40 or beyond while Legs has 3. 6 out of 19 or nearly 33% of Legs kicks are from less than thirty yards while Sergio has only 3 from that distance. I wish Leigghio nothing but the best but I'd rather have Sergio.
  18. Bane has done well this year and played well in Calgary last season in his limited reps.
