I think my worry and that of many here about losing Dru Brown is that we're losing a guy who will go on to play at a high level for the next 10-12 years much like Danny Mac did after he left in 1993.

The Renegades just haven't been the same since 2005. No life at all.

Right now I am dreaming the impossible dream that Dru Brown comes back and if Zach is having struggles, MOS switches to Dru. That or Zach just has a great year and a great Grey Cup.

Jones totally thinks he's better than he is. Guy had Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle at WR (both have had 1000 yard receiving seasons in the NFL), Najee Harris at RB (1000 yard rusher in the NFL), Plus John Metchie at WR and Brian Robinson JR at rb, both of whom are in the NFL. Oh and NFL OL Alex Leatherwood, Evan Neal and Landon Dickerson.

The QB NE drafted three years ago, Mac Jones is awful and has been benched more than once. If they land the #2, they're going QB, either USC's Caleb Williams or UNC Drake Maye. Harrison goes 3 to AZ.

So Rourke gets 3 game checks. Not bad.

I like having Neufeld back. Perhaps the best way to go is to replace Kolo with Eli and Gray with Dobson.

Many of the top Canadian kids are trying to get NCAA scholarships. Heck there are a bunch that play high school football for part of their careers too in order to get more exposure. I have no issue with that. Rourke's comments however, yep I'm with you guys.

Hopefully we get similar weather in 2024 to what we got this year. It was nice having 7 home games between June and right after Labour Day last year. Excellent weather.

Hypothetically, if Brady wants $225,000, are we better signing a guy like Logan from Calgary for $100,000 and bringing in a rookie at $70,000 to pair with him? My initial thought is yes but what do I know. I do wish the CFL published salaries like other major sports.

I like Brady a lot but I'd argue Cornish, Andrew Harris and Blink were all as or more dominant than Brady.

I'm in agreement with many here. I like Brady. I'd like him back but not at more than $180,000 to $190,000.

Right now the Riders have a QB who will be 38 coming off a serious injury, a subpar Oline, no true #1 WR (see Lawler, Schoen, Mack, Geno) and a non elite RB. I'm not seeing the ingredients for a rocket ship offense.

Mueller has been the QB coach in Calgary too. Given Maier's lack of growth not sure how anybody thinks he's going to build a rocketship offense or that players will flock to him.

The White Zombie did have a record setting D in 2005.

I'd also like to go on record and say I never want to see Lapo as our OC, Etcheverry as our DC or Kuale at linebacker. Oh and cut Damien Jackson.
