Election 2015
1. I think the Liberals rethink bringing in proportional representation after getting a majority with under 40% of the vote. 2. Brad Wall seemed like a good choice, too bad. 3. Is this new government illegitimate since they got under 40% of the vote as Harper did?

Elvis is alive dagnabit. He's running a gas station in Iowa. Pumped my gas last time and made a mean peanut butter and banana sandwich.

Election 2015
So who runs to replace Harper? Mulcair?

Election 2015
A little surprised the Liberals are so close to a majority but what do I know.

If they raise the GST back to 7%, that's another 14 billion to spend before you have a deficit. Too easy a move for them not to do it.

Election 2015
In Canada, we need to stop funding what is essentially a false culture. We produce shows that the majority don't watch in the name of culture. You can get a grant to produce paintings, a second to hold a show for said paintings and then a third to buy the paintings you did since nobody wants to buy them. We have grants to produce books that don't sell and that libraries don't want due to space restrictions. If anything, we need to lessen or eliminate arts funding.

Election 2015
You think they'd raise the CPP premium? After promising to restore the age 65 benefit and lowering EI? Not sure that would go over well. Supposedly Id save a few bucks in income tax under the liberals but I'm not sure their definition of wealthy is the same as mine I think they do raise CPP premiums. Wynne in Ontario said she's only doing her provincial plan since Harper wouldn't raise CPP premiums and JT is pretty tied into that wing of the Liberals. Many progessives have raised the issue of Canadians not having enough in retirement including Justin. I think he lowers the age for OAS back to 65 and raises CPP premiums to expand CPP benefits.

Election 2015
I think the Liberals win, leaning towards a majority for them at this point. So basically, I'm going to be paying more. I call CPP premium hike, carbon tax, GST hike within the first year. Book it.

Grey Cup Ticket Sales
Joey Gregorish but only if he sings the Skittlebits song.

Calgary Sun's top-10 MOP candidates
Ben Cahoon owes Doug Brown those trophies.

Ti-Cats Als. Game
I think a playoff birth helps perception with more casual fans which helps ticket sales, which helps the club. Personally would like to see my team in the playoffs, unless it means keeping Marcel.

Marcel Bellefeuille - When does he get axed
Ronald actually ran a pretty good offense back in the day. Made Grimace look like a quality QB. Had the Hamburgler running wild as a dual threat back
-
Ti-Cats Als. Game
We've missed the playoffs three years in a row and 5 of 6, we need a playoff birth.
-
Ti-Cats Als. Game
A win saturday would be huge. BC has a tough remaining three games, while the Als do get the Riders at the end.
-
Ti-Cats Als. Game
Still in the hunt, kind of sad.
-
Ti-Cats Als. Game
Go TiCats. Somebody is going to get into the playoffs with a lousy record, might as well be us.

Marcel Bellefeuille - When does he get axed
MOS should start off his post game interview after the Argos game by announcing Marcel has been let go.

Calgary Sun's top-10 MOP candidates
Since it got mentioned, Brett Johnson led the CFL in sacks in 2005 and 2006 (thanks google).

Calgary Sun's top-10 MOP candidates
Sinopli has been very good, no question. As well, you can argue about him being a "real Canadian" versus Westerman being more of a "Ben Cahoon Canadian". However I think being the league leader is sacks and dominating at a position where NIs usually don't is a greater accomplishment than being a top ten receiver.
-
Calgary Sun's top-10 MOP candidates
He has had a great year. Westerman in a national however and he's been better imo. League leader is sacks.
-
Loyalty or...?
Adams shows why we wanted him and why Toronto did not usually in the same game.
-
Calgary Sun's top-10 MOP candidates
Westerman should be top Canadian but they'll give it to Sinopli to kiss Ottawa's ass.

Bombers vs RedBlacks (and Jovon's chirp)
Let's see, Willy had a better completion percentage, more wins and better stats despite not getting to rack up any garbage yards like last night or essentially the second half in Montreal. Nicholls is a good back up but to say there is not a drop off is crazy.

Fire O'Shea
Fair enough, honestly undecided on MOS. Tempted to see how he does with a real OC. Worried he has not a clue what makes a competent OC. Not sold on Walters either. Walters can do free agency (Westerman, Randle, Willy, D.Adams, Bryant). Doesn't seem able to scout (receiver position, QBs, Pass rushers).

Fire O'Shea
12 wins, 22 loses for MOS and 7-21 in the past 28. Keep him why?
