  1. What evidence is there that MOS is poised to become an all-time great coach? Just to compare, Wally was 22-13-1 in his first two years and Matthews was 23-8-1. Hugh Campbell was 20-10-2. MOS is 12-24.
  2. Expected Turner, sad about Denmark.
  3. Somehow if Winnipeg hired a guy like Tillman, I feel there would be more of an outcry.
  4. Taken was a good Liam Neeson movie. Schindler's List too.
  5. Yay, put more teams in the states where you'd behind the NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA Football, NCAA Basketball and Nascar.
  6. 100 points as an 18 year old rookie.
  7. Here's to the Riders and Lions sucking in 2016 and the Bombers back in the playoffs.
  8. Reunite the Selanne-Zhammov-Thachuk line. Smail, Steen, Boschman, Hawerchuck etc How about Steve Penny in goal?
  9. Pokey and the Bandit
  10. Urban Meyer should watch some CFL games and learn a little about our game before he talks next time.
  11. Popp should sign him. The Als only have 10 QBs under contract.
  12. Nice but this regime needs to produce. 12-24 the past two years and some awful football to boot.
  13. Excellent

I should clarify, Ladd on a five year deal at second/third line money would be fine. Ladd for 6-7 million a year, no.

Is Ladd going to make us a contender or just tie up cap space?
  16. $700,000? They still need to cut what, $650,000 to be safe (ie pay a fine but nothing harsher)?

Sign a guy for 5 years at 6 million who's not making us a contender or likely even a playoff team and who's quite possibly on the third line by 2017/2018? Are you a Leafs GM?

    Trade Ladd.

All right to the American response: 1. Broadcast rights. Fox and ESPN will be broadcasting regular season games. ABC will not be they are owned by ESPN so I doubt they care. 2. The rules: A league has one set of rules. Your suggestion is asinine. 3. Currency: If you can't see the difficulties that two currencies with different values have, well then you haven't thought about this at all. 4. The ratio: You either loss it, likely causing a strike or one team has an advantage.

    No to this idea.
  21. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/13235398/why-nfl-lags-nba-guaranteed-contracts
  22. They don't. They have guaranteed money as does the CFL but the entire contract is not guaranteed like it is in MLB, NHL or the NBA.
  23. How does Stralman not even get a hearing? **** Bettman.
  24. The NFL doesn't have guarented deals either and you can be cut at any time too. He factors the exchange rate wrong too. 36,000 out of 52,000 is .69 cents on the dollar. Didn't hit that until well after the season. Revenue sharing is interesting but can't see it happening. Western teams don't want to prop up the East.
